Summary

How has stacking tirzepatide and retatrutide worked for someone losing from 240 to 180 pounds?

One user reports reaching 180 pounds after a 60-pound loss that began with compounded tirzepatide and later added a retatrutide stack, now continuing at lower weekly doses while aiming lower. Others share similar 60-pound drops, note slowed loss at lower weights, and describe increased activity tolerance plus whole-food focus. Dosing details, menstrual-cycle adjustments, and gradual retatrutide increases are discussed alongside encouragement from the group.

How far to increase retatrutide or whether loss will remain steady long-term at lower body weights

Nothing here is advice.

Feeling really good today after reaching the 180 pound point. If you look back through my earlier posts I first wrote here around October when I was near 220 after coming down from 240 on compounded tirz. Really happy to say the total drop is now 60 pounds. Still aiming for 140 but already feel like a different person. The reta and tirz combination has been working incredibly well for me and I plan to keep going. This community made it possible for me to start in the first place.

What a big accomplishment, well done. It must have taken real effort. Would you be willing to say when you added the second medication and what doses you are using now? Really happy for you and eager to begin my own path.

Sounds good to me there, instructor. Have fun checking out this fresh physical form while keeping the positive message going. Always recall your starting point. My experience shows people who used to carry extra weight can turn into the harshest critics of those still dealing with it, which means holding on to understanding really counts. Skip pushing ideas on others unless they specifically want input. Stay in good shape and hold onto that upbeat flow.

Wow, how exciting to see that progress! I recently dropped sixty pounds myself and it feels unreal. I reached the target weight I pictured at the start, yet now I'm thinking about shedding ten more. The situation feels unpredictable.

It's fantastic watching everyone get that special feeling!!!

Really appreciate the kind words! I'm thrilled about everything actually. Eating mostly unprocessed meals, getting to exercise freely again, and the encouragement from friends in real life have made a huge difference. I started combining things toward the end of October last year. Before finding gray I had been using compounded versions on and off since around the middle of 2024. I reached 12 mg with those compounded versions and sampled wegovy along with other options. Since moving to gray I have stayed with it and plan to continue. Right now my weekly amounts are 10 to 12 mg of tirz adjusted according to my cycle plus 5 mg of reta. This combination is producing steady results of roughly two pounds lost each week. I intend to raise the reta amount gradually toward a full therapeutic level. My hunger is beginning to return which complicates things even though the scale keeps moving so I am nudging the dose up a little. I remember the nervousness well when I first tried gray after that initial order and injection it felt overwhelming. These days I have no intention of changing course. Best of luck.

Sounds wonderful, glad things worked out nicely for you. This item definitely gets results, no question.

Excellent!! Getting set to buy the gray kind as a beginner and I feel you about the stress! Hard to envision the nerves involved with that opening injection following the checks plus all that studying. Well done a second time! Press on!

How does your movement and exercise compare when using these amounts? Do you hit the gym on a steady basis, stay mostly still while tracking intake alone, or land somewhere around the middle?

CopperBeacon14archiveMar 16
↳ replying to @IronFenwick28

Apologies for not catching that earlier. I'm somewhat active but not really into heavy gym routines. Health problems hold me back sometimes, though I know that might seem like a typical reason. Still, I focus on controlling my intake and adding more activity whenever possible. Now that I've reached the target I set for beginning gym visits, I'm aiming to go more often.

That's wonderful advancement, feeling thrilled about your results!

Anyone taking these meds seems less prone to getting all preachy and annoying since we grasp how science alone keeps us from landing in the same spot.

Curious about the reason? The one who gives sermons has to share the positive message πŸ™‚

Amazing work on your progress!!! It's truly a powerful sensation once the weight starts coming off for real. So many people have experimented with countless eating regimens and approaches, and constant disappointments can be really discouraging. Then this unexpected opportunity shows up and suddenly everything clicks into place. What a fantastic sensation.

It is really great to hear about your success. When I first managed to lose weight going from two hundred forty to one hundred eighty it made me feel wonderful as well.

Awesome results! Dropping from two hundred forty down to one hundred eighty really makes a visible impact. What's your current point in the process? I'd enjoy learning about additional wins from folks following a path much like mine. My own weekly reductions have leveled off somewhat. Initially it came to three pounds each week, but these days it's usually one to one and a half during favorable periods.

After about thirteen years passed my weight climbed as high as three hundred forty one pounds and just seven days earlier it sat near two hundred sixty. Comments on how much lighter I look only began arriving during the last thirty days once the scale stopped moving. I aim for somewhere between one hundred eighty and two hundred. Previously I took five milligrams of Tirz but increasing the amount wasn't possible given my source so two weeks back I changed over to Reta and now it seems the pounds are coming off once more.

Hey! My scale now shows 169 pounds after that earlier update. The drop isn't happening as quickly anymore because I'm already lighter. I'm taking 5-6 mg of reta each week plus about 10-15 mg of tirz weekly. Picking better foods has been the plan though that's slipped lately maybe from some separate health problem. I've added more daily steps and movement along with occasional gym visits.

Thrilled you're at this stage too. Sharing the same relief when meals feel ordinary again and free from all that mental overthinking.

Just wanted to share a quick update with those still tracking this discussion. Stepped on the scale this morning and saw 166 pounds. Not slowing down or giving up, laughing as I say it. Beginning to recognize my usual self, no longer avoiding photos or feeling reserved in any situation. The process stretched out longer than expected, but anyone wondering if such change can happen should know that since it happened for me it might happen for them as well.
