Hi, sorry for the basic question but I can't find an answer I understand. My rat gets 15 mg of tirz each week. Vials come in 15 mg sizes. Adding 3 ml of bac water would mean using the whole vial weekly. A 30 mg vial would let you use half each week. A 120 mg vial would mean using a quarter weekly so it lasts four weeks. Once mixed, does the vial stay good longer than four weeks in the fridge? People also mention 300 mg vials and I wonder how you measure such a small dose when you can only add 3 ml of bac water. Is the answer to add more than 3 ml? Or are the bigger vials physically larger?

Double-check the math because accuracy matters a lot with these meds. Using a quarter of a 120 mg vial each week would actually be a 30 mg dose, which could cause bad nausea and vomiting for days and might lead to dehydration needing hospital care. The week-long half life makes overdosing risky. Dosing mistakes happen easily when mixing yourself and poison centers see many calls about glp-1 errors. These meds are safer than morphine but still easy to get wrong by a factor of two or ten. Online peptide calculators can help.

Use a peptide calculator. One example takes your target dose, the vial size, and the bac water amount then tells you how many units to draw or how many clicks on a pen.

Thanks, I meant a 60 mg vial would last four weeks. I had just woken up. If the cost per mg is similar then a 60 mg size makes sense once you add shipping. People buying 300 mg must keep vials in the fridge longer. I would worry about contamination and breakdown by then so I will stick with 60 or 120 mg to be safe. Thanks for the help.

A 300 mg purchase is usually a kit of ten 30 mg vials. For a 15 mg vial I would add only 1 ml of bac water because injecting 3 ml at once is too much volume.

One thing not mentioned yet: do not add 3 ml to a 15 mg vial. That is a huge amount of liquid for one dose. You would probably need several shots unless you use a very large syringe. Brand-name doses are 0.5 ml no matter the strength.

You can add any amount of bac water you want. The goal is to end up with an injection volume you are comfortable with. Add 1 ml or 3 ml as examples and the amount of liquid changes. Online calculators let you enter the peptide amount, the bac water, and then show the injection volume needed.

It depends on preference. Less bac water means less liquid to inject. More bac water reduces the chance of big measurement errors. Either approach works. Or share your current dose and vial size and others can suggest volumes.

Use the reverse calculator. Insulin syringes are usually 100 units, 50 units, or 30 units total. Look up photos to see how the tick marks are spaced in 1-unit or 2-unit steps.

Since vials can be overfilled, should you start with half or quarter of the expected dose to check it is not dangerously strong? If that feels normal, take the full amount the next week. Underfills are not dangerous, just less effective.

Someone taking only 15 mg vials is probably on a lower weekly dose. I would not buy anything smaller than a full month supply per vial. At 10 mg weekly the smallest size I would consider is 40 mg vials.

Remember that many calculators expect the dose in micrograms, not milligrams. One milligram equals one thousand micrograms so a 15 mg dose becomes 15000 mcg.

That is risky and you could get quite sick. Only buy tested vials and mix according to the amount shown on the certificate of analysis.

Think in terms of concentration instead of how many doses fit in one bottle. The dilution you create is what matters. For a 30 mg vial you could add 1 ml and then 50 units would be your dose, or add 3 ml so each 10 units equals 1 mg. At the weaker mix a 15 mg dose would need 150 units, which exceeds a normal insulin syringe. You can create any concentration you like by choosing the bac water volume.

Even if one vial is tested, how do I know the other nine in the kit weigh the same? Testing only covers the tested vial. Taking a smaller test amount first seems safer, or am I missing something?

I can do the math from the label but if the vial is over or underfilled the actual amount is unknown. Testing only one vial does not guarantee the rest. I just want to avoid taking too much.

What is the longest you have used one vial? As a beginner I am unsure how many weeks you can keep drawing from it. Some forums keep using a vial until it is empty as long as it stays clear. Lab results suggest one month is the safe limit but the person noted it can last longer.

Good luck. I have been mixing many different doses and peptides for over a year and some of the suggestions here seem off to me. I mostly follow what they mean but I am surprised they are offered. I will not add more comments.

That answered a question I had not even asked yet. Brand-name doses being 0.5 ml is useful. Out of curiosity, is there a minimum bac water amount needed? For a single-dose vial the measurement might be harder with very little liquid, so is there a lower limit for safe reconstitution?

Many people aim for very small shots. For a single-dose vial I would still add at least 0.5 ml so the powder fully dissolves. It may take longer but I prefer a bit more liquid to reduce the chance of large errors. You will rarely get exactly one dose per vial anyway because of overfill.

Since the lab tests used sterile water instead of bac water, the actual stability with bac water should be even longer.
