I saw this video on peptide stability first. I really wish someone would run a study retesting these two peptides after long-term freezer storage. I would like to see any study on a similar peptide because the video shows that different structures can have different stability. Second, I question how this study lines up with what the original maker and compounders say. The maker lists a two-year shelf life while many compounders extended their dates to about a year. Could different sources end up with different stability even if the molecule is the same? Plenty of people using compounded versions are not seeing the drop in results you would expect if potency halved. Maybe it comes down to using plain bacteriostatic water instead of phenol or other stabilizers, or maybe the vials sat under bright light. I would like to hear from people who know more about this. Will the results change anyone's plans?

The lab results line up with my view that the peptides stay good. Those checks focused on powder kept at normal temperature, as far as I remember. It would be good to have checks done on peptides kept cold and growth hormone in the refrigerator. My checks only go back a single year so far. Perhaps after another couple years I'll have more info.

It's obvious that keeping this compound in the freezer won't work out well. I'm wondering what others think about the right strength for these kits. I came across a dosage site with plenty of details on a comparable peptide and even some notes on where to get it. The section for the smaller vial has a link.

Yeah that's accurate. I place mine inside the freezer until the specified time and find it remains usable over many years this way.

Hoping that's the case here. There's a dedicated freezer out in my garage since I occasionally divide a whole cow among a couple friends and require extra room. Still, whenever I reach for one of those vials I notice my spouse has jammed a package of frozen nuggets right onto the container holding my peptides. Really wishing those things hold up okay back there in the cold.

Laughing here, maybe tuck those lower down where nothing touches them? I've heard freeze-dried peptides stay stable for months when left out, for years if chilled, and for ages if frozen solid. For the ones I plan to use within six to twelve months I store them inside my compact cooler dialed to four on the five scale. When shielded inside a sturdy container they hold up okay even if frozen bits sit above.

I came across some test data showing what happens to three peptides once mixed and left sitting for months. Samples were kept in pairs, one batch chilled around 36 degrees and the other at normal room temperature near 76 degrees. Everything was mixed using sterile water that contains 0.9 percent benzyl alcohol, stored away from light, and checked periodically for nearly four months with a spectrophotometer.

Tirzepatide stayed close to full strength for the first week at room temperature but fell to roughly two fifths by the end of the first month. When kept cold it was still mostly intact after two months yet dropped sharply after that. MOTS-c lasted longer than the usual claims suggest, keeping most of its strength after a week at room temperature before losing almost everything by day thirty one. The chilled version held up better at first but still declined steadily over time. Mazdutide showed the strongest early resistance to warmth yet followed the same overall pattern of gradual then rapid loss.

Across all three the drop was slow at the start and then accelerated, even in the refrigerator. The alcohol in the mixing solution might be playing a role in that later steep decline. Overall the cold storage helped stretch the usable period but nothing lasted forever, short exposure to warmth did not destroy everything right away, and each one broke down on its own schedule once mixed.
