Users report varying results with topical GHK-Cu. Some saw skin improvement after mixing into a moisturizer and using every other night alongside other products. Others noted temporary redness and irritation when applied soon after microneedling but no lasting damage, while one user experienced no issues with a copper peptide version depending on product compatibility. Personal accounts emphasize individual tolerance and avoiding immediate post-procedure application on the scalp.

Whether GHK-Cu is safe to apply soon after microneedling or if it risks irritation even when skin ultimately looks fine afterward

Nothing here is advice.

I had everything ready to begin applying GHK topically when I fell into a deep dive on Reddit and encountered reports of it causing actual damage to skin. It would be great to get input from the community of folks who've already tried it out, like details on what succeeded or failed, the dosages used, and how they combined it with their regular creams and such.

Yesterday I went over my face at 1.5 mm and layered in the polynucleotide, hyaluronic acid, and human exosomes one at a time. A few hours afterward I put on the copper peptide product, and even though I had already used the other peptides the area stayed pink and felt sensitive. I rinsed everything away after six hours and woke up with normal color. Nothing looked harmed, though the open skin clearly reacted to that last step, yet overall the surface still seems fine so maybe the earlier layers got through anyway. The polynucleotide spots I injected at both 1.5 and 2 mm depths also settled without any leftover pinkness, puffiness, or bumps. While I was reading around, what bad experiences turned up for you? I came across a note that the copper version can leave some faces looking duller and tighter.

My experience with a copper peptide product for the skin has been fine so far. The outcome probably varies based on mixing it with other things at once and how well they work together.

Back when I did that needling on my head, I recall someone suggesting to skip any creams or serums for a full day or two afterwards.

I have mixed a couple grams of it into a container of basic water gel moisturizer for a few years now. I use it every other night as I also have another face cream I use along with estriol. My skin has improved immensely.

I probably should have quit once the ha pn and exo were done but instead I wanted to try putting that sub q stuff into some scar tissue and loose spots because my face looked rough and I had a few days free. The needle just would not go in about a millimeter under the chin so I rubbed it on the surface instead. By day five or six everything looked really good. I take chances with stuff I already trust even when it is going on my face just like I did with those grey peptides. One time I tried injecting exosomes and ended up with red welts under the eyes that stuck around for a couple months. Maybe the depth was wrong or the concentration was too strong but I figure the thickness of the exosomes had a lot to do with it.

I'm curious how long the effects stuck around after the klow shots. Was there much change in the sagging spots? After shedding pounds I've got extra skin I'm hoping to firm.

I figured the shots could go in anywhere but figured aiming straight at the spot might work better. I already knew that other product helps with old marks so I tried the same idea here just to see what happens since I like testing things on myself. It didn't tighten anything up but my skin feels nicer in general even if it's nothing dramatic. Without trying it I probably would have ended up with even more sagging by now. There's always been a little fold right under my jaw from when I was a kid and even back when I weighed less I could make a noticeable second chin appear. At my current weight the area just looks looser with time and the drop in natural hormones. A surgical tuck on the lower face is probably the only real fix and I'm not there yet.
