I Hit My High School Weight

Summary

What does it feel like to reach your high school or college weight again while using tirzepatide and related meds?

The original poster shares hitting 155 pounds at age 60 after starting at 237, crediting tirzepatide plus TRT and training, and notes his wife bought fitting 30-inch jeans. Others echo the excitement of returning to earlier weights but describe ongoing mental adjustment and fear of regain. Several mention staying on steady or added GLP-1 doses to manage food noise, while one is testing new peptide combos for remaining belly fat. Creatine use introduces uncertainty about scale fluctuations during maintenance.

Stepped on the scale this morning and it read 155. That matches what I weighed all through my teens. My wife picked up some 30-inch slim jeans for me today and they fit just right. Feeling really good about being only four pounds from my target and in better shape than I've been for years. My top weight was 237 with a 38-inch waist. My hair seems to be coming back too. Tirzepatide is an amazing medication and I plan to stay on it for life. Just to be clear I also take TRT and lift weights five days a week so my build is solid. Not trying to show off, I just never expected to look this way at 60.

Yay!!! This makes me beam with pure delight over your win!!!

I reached my college weight more than a year back and have held steady there. The physical shift was huge. Mentally I'm still getting used to how I look now, which feels odd to say. I keep worrying I might gain the weight again.

This is thrilling! Well done everyone! I'm thankful this option is now within reach for us! 🙌🙌🎉

Nice! I understand that feeling. I don't trust the old food noise or habits. Once I hit goal I stayed on the same reta and tirz amounts and even added sema for extra security. If the scale keeps dropping I'll just eat more. If it starts rising I'll eat less. Food still feels pretty uninteresting on the GLPs and I'm fine keeping it that way.

Awesome! Glad you hit what you were aiming for.

The fact that your wife got the jeans without you even asking shows real support. Congrats, those last four pounds will be easy now.

That scared feeling never really leaves. Getting the maintenance dose right has been as tough as the weight loss itself, and it takes time for your reflection to match the new reality.

Congratulations! I'm getting close myself at 65. Still dealing with a bit of belly that won't budge. Trying some different peptide amounts and mixes to see if that helps.

So true. I just began creatine and knew it would add some weight, but it's making me second-guess everything. Am I losing ground on maintenance or is this just the usual water retention from creatine? The worry feels very real!

I share that feeling. The ambiguity is bothering me.

I'd like to hear how everything turns out for you. That would help me feel more secure about it.
