Good on you for going up slowly. Plenty here do the same. I call the ones who start straight at 2 mg adventurous. It can work for them but we are all different. I never increase more than half a mg at once because I'm medically sensitive. Who wants to be stuck home with bad diarrhea or painful constipation? I like a calm life, not that kind of drama.

I'm lucky I guess, and so is my wife. We haven't had any of that, just a mild lack of pooping at the start. Not sure if it was the reta or just eating cleaner and smaller portions. That's long gone now.

I have zero side effects, yes I go less but I also eat less. I drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water daily. Started at 0.5 mg the first week, 1 mg the second, now third week on Saturday. Not sure yet if I'll stay at 1 mg or go to 1.5 mg because cravings are still there even though I fill up faster. Lost almost 3 kg in two weeks so far.

Here's my latest weight check at 92.3 kg. I considered posting this yesterday yet chose to delay by a day or two. The previous shot was one milligram last Saturday. All felt normal right up until Thursday when appetite surged back intensely and food desires hit hard. I managed through Friday yet consumed extra portions during midday and evening meals. On Saturday some weight returned so I took one point five milligrams around four in the afternoon. At present I sense very little effect. Maybe building tolerance? The product remains from the identical container so probably not degraded. Another kit is arriving shortly. Thinking about going higher or doing smaller amounts more often instead. Peace.

Another update: 90.5 kg. That moves me from class I obesity into the overweight range, exactly 29.9 BMI per the calculations. I can eat normally again. Food noise and sweet or salty cravings are milder than before but still present. I just feel more in control of them now. Doing my best to keep intake limited and high in protein. At least 1.5 L of water daily.

Another update: 88.6 kg. Weight is still coming off steadily. Feeling fine, still zero side effects. End of week four at 2 mg and pinning another 2 mg later today. Did my first run last night with a start-to-run program and finished the session. Kept it slow at 6.4 km/h, tried for zone 2 but that didn't happen. Wasn't wiped out afterward though, so progress I guess.

Update: weight hasn't shifted in a week. Pinned the same 2 mg as the week before but might increase this week. Felt sick today, stomach upset and couldn't sleep because of it. Saw my doctor and mentioned the reta. She didn't judge at all, just said to watch my gallbladder since the symptoms matched and it's a known GLP-1 side effect. She did ask where I got it because she knows it's not available in Belgium yet.

Another update: 88.2 kg this morning, still in the same range for the past week and a half. Titrated up to 2.5 mg yesterday. Feeling a bit more fatigued than before but keeping protein and water high. Finished my third run yesterday without issues and feel like I'm progressing there too. Also looking into returning to the gym.

Are you getting electrolytes?

KeenFenwick72archiveJul 24

Here we go, around 84.5 kg now. Weight dropped fast again after going up. Thinking back, the heat wave might have made my body hold extra water. Crashed yesterday too. Haven't been eating much because 2.5 mg seems to wipe out hunger completely. Didn't even think about food, just coffee, water and steak or chicken for dinner. Body wasn't happy. Felt drunk, couldn't walk straight, very light-headed. Tried cola for quick sugar but it didn't help much. Electrolytes helped a little after lunch but I was still nervous about driving home. Today is better, ate a bit more last night including fruit and an egg with the steak. Going to start tracking intake if I want to get back into gym shape. If anyone has quick meal-prep tips for work, nothing with cottage cheese though. Thanks.
