I went the opposite way and bought a separate small refrigerator just for these compounds, complete with a freezer compartment for longer storage needs.

Did the product still function? In theory it breaks down quickly and loses strength, so even without negative effects it could have been ineffective after injection. I would not take the chance and would refrigerate it regardless.

You might also consider adding a temperature alarm that alerts when conditions change. I installed one on my freezer years ago and get notified if problems occur. They are probably inexpensive for the added reassurance.

As was mentioned, manufacturers allow a period at room temperature. I am unsure if that extends to multi-dose versions available in some places. In my view the bigger issue is contamination rather than breakdown. My sense is that with bacteriostatic water and proper alcohol swabbing, sterility holds for a couple weeks at room temperature during outages or travel, though refrigeration remains preferable.

Information I have seen indicates refrigeration can reduce breakdown by around four times versus room temperature, though the factor varies by compound. Vials with bacteriostatic water show higher microbial activity at room temperature. The water provides some buffer but repeated access still raises contamination risk. I have used multi-dose vials at around 65 degrees without refrigeration and consider two weeks acceptable at typical indoor temperatures.
