Summary

Do other people label random household items with a label maker just for fun or organization?

Several users describe using label makers far beyond their original purpose, such as tagging fridge contents with calorie estimates, office supplies to deter theft, or even joking about labeling pets and body parts. Others share their own quirky uses like marking doors at parties or address labels with calorie categories. A few discuss printer preferences and practical tips for making labels stick on vials.

I've tagged nearly everything around my place. Started with medication using my label maker but it turned into a full habit where I organized the whole fridge and added calorie counts to items, often rounding up on purpose as a caution.

A touch of that never hurt anyone. A touch of that. I did make some address labels though, that's it so far.

I might tag each of my two cats. There's a tendency for me to add markings to stuff that doesn't actually need them.

Those units still rank higher in my mind than the laser model sitting here. Working with plain equipment lets me test out fresh ideas on my own instead of depending on spoken commands for machine-made visuals. Go easy though, I get the usual take on this.

In my old job at a crowded spot with nonstop visitors around, my writing tools and staplers would vanish constantly. Eventually I bought some stickers marked for rectal application only and put them on every bit of my work gear. The stealing ended soon after that.

Thinking about trying out that idea on the little bottles with my peptides just to catch my buddies reactions once they notice them sitting in the refrigerator. πŸ˜‚

Visited someone's place for their kid's celebration event. Every single entrance had stickers made with a portable labeling tool that listed the room type. It struck me as funny enough to laugh out loud.

I put tags on both my nuts to keep their sides straight in my head. Later the lettering style annoyed me so I yanked those tags loose. That move gave me a no cost hair stripping session as a hidden bonus.

These two felines I own act so foolish that calling them the morons comes to mind but determining which is less bright remains unclear πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

Sounds awesome πŸ˜„ I could use one of those as well. What version are you working with?

My gadget delivers clearer results and manages a wider range of tag dimensions, suiting my needs exactly. πŸ˜†

Great, much appreciated! 😊 Wondering if any problems showed up during use? Like the stickers coming loose or similar things?

I label my containers this way. It's been just thirty days so I'm unsure whether the stickers might lose color or peel away. Before sticking them on I wipe the container using a tissue followed by a disinfectant pad. I've seen mentions of folks getting dedicated machines for this yet standard sticker sheets sized for ordinary printers work fine. Their design program lets me create the text and then output it on equipment I already have at home. This was my initial attempt and it's pretty basic.

This gadget proves incredibly useful to me. As someone who works with clay, I'm eager to attend the upcoming artisan fair where I'll label my items with its help.

I calculate the calorie category according to distance on my address labels.

Up to now none of my stickers have detached not even the ones stuck onto the little tubs inside the refrigerator πŸ˜‰
