Summary

Has anyone switched from GLP-1s to Elora to ease anhedonia, and how does product quality look right now?

What this discussion establishesStill open

Long-term safety and sustained effect on anhedonia when Elora is stacked with or substituted for GLP-1s.

Nothing here is advice.

Is anyone moving from a GLP-1 over to Elora in order to cut down on anhedonia? That is the main reason I would give it a try, but I want to hear from people who have actually used both.

Plenty of people have already talked about stacking Elora and what benefits it might bring. I am interested in whether it could actually work, though the main hurdles at the moment are the price and the recent string of market problems. Any attempt would probably stand a better chance once the supply chain settles down.

I ran into anhedonia on tirzepatide and on cagrilintide, but I felt none at all when I used 1 mg of Elora. That dose gave me another six percent or so of weight loss after I had already dropped thirty percent. Hope that helps. What are you referring to with the recent market problems? It has done exactly what I expected at the one-milligram level. Phase-two data showed ten percent loss on its own at that dose and twenty percent at nine milligrams. From what I have seen it seems worth adding when you hit a plateau on GLP-1s.

One batch came back as a completely different compound. Other users have reported endocrine problems. There is a lot of concern right now about certain products not containing what they claim. Several new threads on Elora appeared in the past week, and you can find more discussion in the usual market and group-buy threads.

I would like to try it to break out of my current stall, but I share the same worries about all the testing failures and the high cost. So I am staying on tirzepatide for now. Maybe Elora will look better in a year once prices come down and supply improves. Right now there is just too much incentive for sellers to ship something else and label it Elora.

I expect quality to get better fairly quickly, though lower prices will probably take a little longer. Once more sources are offering it the competition should bring costs down, maybe within three to six months.
