Working on labels now and that part is sorted, but a bit concerned about bringing this up in the wrong spot so here it is. When I received compounded product the vials were mostly good quality and the crimp stayed fairly smooth after the plastic top came off. These other vials leave the metal bubbly with sharp spots sometimes and it looks rough. I usually press the top gently against a flat surface to try flattening it but it still ends up looking damaged. Looking for any method or homemade tool that could make the crimp look better and more presentable overall.

When small pieces of the metal stay raised after the cap is off I push them down using a clean golf ball or any small round clean item so they go slightly inward rather than staying flat. A little pressure is all it needs and it makes wiping with alcohol easier while looking neater.

Small 3D printed caps are available to place on the vials while stored in the fridge. They still look off once removed but they keep the tops cleaner and nicer in the meantime. Same style works for bac water too.

That is the exact idea I needed, thanks. Really appreciate this place, I was fixated on using something flat and never considered something round. Might pick up a golf ball or look for a tool with a rounded tip, gives me something to think about.
Just place the vial on the counter and hit it hard with a ball peen hammer.
Looks like I'm heading the right direction and even the AI came up with some business ideas around it.
Basically I take my 1.5 inch steel ball, place it inside a 1 to 1.5 inch impact socket and give the vial a few rotations with it. That should work, already ordered one.
