How to track and celebrate Tirzepatide weight loss milestones using stones or kilos instead of pounds

One user shares reaching an 8-stone loss milestone tracked against weekly Tirz dosing after switching to a cheaper source based on forum advice, with no major stalls except during a vacation. Others respond by considering or switching their own scales to stones or kilos for more neutral daily weighing that avoids emotional reactions to pound numbers. The thread highlights how different units can support ongoing motivation and progress monitoring.

I've moved into the next stone loss bracket today. My tracker probably looks odd since I weigh in kilos, but I'm pleased to have reached that 8 stone total for anyone it registers with. I check my weekly Tirz doses against the progress and moved from an expensive provider to a cheaper one after picking up tips here recently. That's 51 kg or 112 lb, equal to 8 stone, now gone. Still more ahead, yet I'm feeling sure about succeeding this time.

Those visuals really stand out after everything. All the effort deserves some recognition and I want to reach matching progress over a comparable stretch. Any long plateaus show up along the path?

Weeks vary in speed from time to time. Luckily nothing has truly stopped progressing yet. The single uptick came after a fun getaway during which I really stopped worrying about food choices. Amounts stayed modest anyway. Yet every dish I thought I had skipped before got tasted across those days.

Nice job reaching that point! Those figures you're using strike me as odd, which sparked the notion of trying one out myself. Measuring in other units could keep me from reacting strongly like I do now, so I could still track daily shifts without the same emotional hit from seeing the figure. Time to look around for a device that shows stone.

Before, I used to picture my body mass only in stones. A medical exam that got me motivated showed the reading in kilograms, and I kept using that system after. It also cuts down on the sums in my tracking sheet when estimating energy use or body ratios I keep an eye on. Even so, checking the total in pounds alone appeals because those bigger figures moving gives a nice mental lift.

I'm thrilled you happened to mention a couple of measurement choices that carry no emotional weight for me at all. A short time ago I set my scale to kilograms instead. Now I can note I've shed a tiny amount and feel good about it without understanding the figure.
