Has anyone tried this peptide before?
PE-22-28
What experiences have people had with the peptide PE-22-28?
Users describe PE-22-28 as a nootropic that blocks TREK-1 channels to support neurogenesis and increased brain excitability. One person combined it with several other peptides over planned cycles but reported no noticeable effects after months of use, though anxiety seemed reduced alongside selank. Dosing was done subcutaneously at 250-750 mcg a few times weekly, with another participant planning to try nasal administration instead.
What this discussion establishes- PE-22-28 is taken to promote neurogenesis by inhibiting TREK-1 channels
- Common stacks include pinealon, epithalon, selank, and planned cerebrolysin or dihexa cycles
- No strong subjective effects reported after several months of use
- Subcutaneous dosing around 250-750 mcg a few times per week
- Some users note possible anxiety reduction when combined with selank
One participant plans nasal administration for better results while another has only used subcutaneous injections.
Still openWhether the peptide produces noticeable benefits or if longer use and different dosing routes would change outcomes.
Nothing here is advice.
I'd also be interested in hearing about others' experiences with it.
It blocks the TREK-1 potassium channel in the brain, which is believed to encourage new neuron growth and synapse formation. I'm using it alongside epithalon and pinealon for a brain-focused regimen. Memory feels slightly sharper and sleep seems solid, though I'm also on DSIP and selank. Planning a two-month run of these, then a week off before a ten-day cerebrolysin phase, followed by a month break and then four to six weeks of dihexa. After that I'll pause for a few months before cycling again. Combining everything at once risks overstimulating neurons, which could cause headaches, seizures, or worse in theory, and excessive neurogenesis might even lead to tumors. I also add semax a few times weekly.
Any update on how that brain stack is going, especially with the PE-22-28?
Thanks for checking in. Still using PE-22-28 a few times weekly and pinealon every day, but pausing the epithalon. Cerebrolysin is next on the list. Might skip dihexa for now since there's no cognitive issues yet. Considering adding cortagen later. Honestly nothing feels different at any level with the current stack. Because many of these act on gene expression, real changes probably need more time to show up.
If nothing feels different, what dosing schedule are you following? Subcutaneous or nasal?
Using it subcutaneously. Most info suggests small amounts like 250 mcg per dose, so I've stayed low but tried up to 750 mcg. Anxiety has been noticeably lower since adding selank and this peptide, so maybe it's doing something after all.
Most sources I've seen recommend intranasal for the strongest effects. I'll probably try it that way when mine arrives.
