The eye problem that concerns me most is NAION. I may not have seen every report on vision effects from these drugs, but NAION is the main one that stood out. I have had a detached retina and so did my father; it was handled with a scleral buckle and not a major issue.
Started with a 1 mg dose last Tuesday and noticed dry eye shortly after. Further reading turned up studies suggesting these medications can affect the eyes. Not diabetic but there is family history on my father's side. High myopia already makes retinal detachment more likely, and my dad experienced it because of his poor vision. Is reta something to be worried about?
