This one hurts for me to ask but what peptides would you run before and after an inguinal hernia surgery?

What peptides help recovery before and after inguinal hernia surgery?

Users recommend BPC-157, TB-500, KPV, and GHK-Cu (often called Wolverine or Glow/Klow stacks) starting about a week before surgery and continuing afterward, with extra KPV for inflammation. Several note stopping GLP-1 agonists like tirzepatide or retatrutide 1-2 weeks prior due to constipation and anesthesia concerns, then resuming shortly after. Personal experiences describe quick returns to desk work with icing and supportive belts, plus reduced soreness from KPV dosing.

Whether to pin Copper and KPV separately from Wolverine blend at the injury site

Nothing here is advice.

A hernia popped up for me at the chiropractor's on Wednesday. Surgery is scheduled soon. This whole thing has me pretty bummed and I'm dreading it. My main goal is a speedy recovery with minimal discomfort. Any advice would be great, and jokes are welcome to ease the tension.

Thinking about running the Wolverine stack along with KPV.

I'd definitely stop the reta. Constipation was already an issue, and I wouldn't want anything to further delay healing.

Surgeons usually ask about GLP-1 use and want it stopped 1-2 weeks ahead. I'd stay off it at least a week after too. Big square ice packs for the abdomen helped me a lot during my own recovery. I wasn't using peptides then, but a Wolverine or Glow/Klow version plus extra KPV sounds good. The first couple days were tough without pain meds, and I was back at my desk by day 4 though still medicated from sitting upright.

KPV gets another vote from me. After a full day of outdoor physical labor I came home sore and stiff, took my usual evening dose, and woke up feeling fine instead of the expected soreness. One milligram at night works well for me even though it makes me sleepy.

Six weeks out now. My pre-op review covered all medications and gave clear instructions. They wanted Tirzepatide paused one week before, so I took the next shot two days after the procedure and went back to the regular schedule right away.

Also wondering whether to split the shots so Copper and KPV go in the glute while Wolverine goes near the injury site, or if that's overcomplicating things.

Had the same surgery before retiring and returned to work the next day. Dealing with it on the other side now and expect to get it fixed soon. It was straightforward with no complications or pain, just day surgery. An inguinal hernia belt from Amazon made standing for long periods tolerable when worn snug.

I plan to search for more details on that. Grateful for the suggestion.

Probably overthinking the site-specific pinning. If going with KLOW I'd add more KPV on top since it helps so much with inflammation. There's a thread here about someone using very high doses post-surgery.

Sorry you're dealing with this, especially from a chiro visit. I had bilateral inguinal plus umbilical hernias from a heavy deadlift and waited eight years to fix them. Three main surgical approaches exist: open, laparoscopic, and robotic, with the last being the most advanced, but surgeon skill matters more than the method. I'd run BPC, TB, KPV, and GHK-Cu separately rather than in blends, starting at least seven days before the operation.
