It probably comes down to how many doses fit in one bottle. At 5mg a week you get about six weeks from a 30mg vial, which goes a bit past the usual 28-day suggestion but not by months. At 7.5mg it lines up with four weeks. Higher amounts like 10mg give three weeks, 12.5mg roughly 2.4 weeks, and 15mg only two weeks. That explains why most people stay around the 30mg size while on 5-10mg. Once doses reach 12.5mg or more, moving to 40mg or 60mg vials makes more sense. Starting with a 60mg vial would mean 12, 8, 6, 5, or 4 weeks per bottle depending on the dose. Some users simply prefer not to keep a bottle longer than four or six weeks.
For me the 30mg size just works out better with the math on tirzepatide. I keep reta in 20mg vials for the same reason. Everyone's situation differs though.

I agree with that view. Most of what I've read leaves me comfortable going up to about 90 days. At that point a 30mg vial at 2.5mg weekly would last 84 days. Right now I'm using reta at 1.5mg every three days after starting at 1mg, so a 20mg vial lasts around 40 days and loads easily into a pen. I have some 30mg reta coming that should last 60 days at the current rate. If my dose increases by then the timing should still work without needing to reconstitute more than every month or two. It's about balancing cost, effort, and personal comfort.
