Wolverine vs BPC and TB individually

18 replies8 peopleMar 16, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Is a blended BPC-157 and TB-500 vial better than taking them separately for tendon injuries?

Users report noticeable pain reduction and mobility gains from both approaches on shoulder and bicep issues, with some seeing 80% improvement in days. Blends are praised for convenience and lower cost while separate use allows targeted BPC near the site and systemic TB on a less frequent schedule. Several participants still favor individual compounds to control exact amounts and avoid daily TB dosing.

I've been on BPC-157 at 1 mg daily plus TB-500 at 2 mg every three days for about a month. Thinking about moving to daily TB-500 to speed up my bicep tendonitis recovery. That would mean 1 mg of each compound every day. Would a single mixed vial be simpler or preferable to buying the two peptides on their own? What do people here think?

It's a less expensive choice and doesn't have any notable drawbacks.

Some sources suggest TB first thing in the morning via stomach subQ three times a week and BPC injected right at the injury site two or three times daily, or once at night when most repair happens. I don't like the fixed ratios in the combined products and prefer to set my own amounts, though the lower price and ease are obvious pluses.

What choice did you end up making? I'm facing the same question.

I went ahead and ordered the mixed version. I'm now taking 1 mg of each, so 2 mg total per day.

My 5 mg blend vial is almost gone after using 250 mcg of each daily and the rotator cuff pain is down about 80 %. People keep saying separate vials would be better, but I'm considering a 10 mg blend next so I can raise the dose the way you're doing. Good luck.

Has the 250 mcg daily dose made a clear difference for you? I suspect I might also need physical therapy alongside the peptides to really fix the tendonitis. Good luck!

Most blends on the market actually contain TB4. That version works better with daily dosing anyway, unlike the two-to-three-times-weekly schedule usually given for TB-500.

It has helped a lot. The injury was months old from gym work and made bench, shoulder press, and pull-ups painful. After three days at 250 mcg daily the pain dropped 80 % and is much less intense now. I keep hearing separate is better, yet the blend is convenient even though it means daily use. What confuses me is that TB-500 is normally twice a week, not every day, when bought alone.

That's the downside. If cost isn't an issue then separate looks fine. If it is, the blend might still be the better practical option.

I had a rotator cuff tear and biceps tendinosis. Last year I used a combined product; this time I ran them separately with BPC near the site and TB-500 in the stomach. Pain is way down, range of motion is better, and the arm feels stronger, though I'm only seven inconsistent doses in so there's still progress left.

I've only tried the mix so far, injecting near the injury every day. I did pick up separate bottles to test them apart from each other.

That's good to hear. Given we have the same type of injury, would you now suggest separate over the blend?

SlowSignal40archiveMay 5

Exactly. Separate use seems more effective and also avoids dosing mistakes. TB needs to work throughout the body while BPC promotes new blood vessels, which you don't want in places like the retina. I've seen mentions of Thymalin overdose risks too, though that may not apply to synthetic TB-500. My current plan is 500 mcg BPC daily plus 1 mg TB twice weekly.

Just to clarify, my issue is biceps tendinosis rather than tendonitis. People often mix those up.

For my year-old right rotator cuff problem I ran TB-500 at 2 mg daily for three weeks, then switched to BPC-157 at 1 mg daily for another three weeks plus occasional PT videos. The shoulder is about 90 % better after a month, though not perfect because I'm not consistent with the exercises. I would go separate. Blends seem more useful for maintenance or injury prevention once things are stable. Every situation differs, and the low prices let us try both ways.

One thing to notice is how much more TB-500 costs than BPC. Also, taking BPC right after a lifting session seems to be the best timing so none of it goes to waste.

SlowSignal40archiveMay 7

I'm considering starting multiple smaller BPC doses spread throughout the day.
