Have QR codes ever scanned properly once attached to the vial? When I created one on a label it scanned fine before sticking it on, but the rounded surface seems to stop it from reading now. Maybe shrinking the size would help. The transparent stickers might be an issue too since the white layer made it scan okay on paper, yet the phone camera struggles with the see-through part against the glass.

When I inserted the attractive designs into the text editor, went to the correspondence section, selected the sticker variety, picked the standard page format, then chose the matching option from the list, it turned out straightforward to produce pages full of them, or so I suppose. You have likely known this already, but this aspect only became clear to me recently. hahaha

I pay for a design subscription to handle the artwork. this one piece took forever because the exact shape does not exist ready-made so I built it piece by piece. started with a rounded rectangle turned vertical, added a full rectangle on top to create the rounded left side and square right side, then a third white rectangle to finish it off. all the text elements and fonts were copied from an existing compounding label and I asked an AI to identify the fonts so I could match them. the colors are the ones currently trending in that industry. it looks basic from the outside but it took real effort. still not finished, thinking about adding a gradient and shadow once I get to the desk. if I were you I would stick to very simple designs first and build from there.
go ahead and get her the cutter if she is willing to put in the time to learn it. you will end up with all kinds of useful and fun projects around the house, including the print-and-cut option that works well for these vial labels. the catch is the design program that comes with it. most people get frustrated because the software is much harder than it first appears and it takes many hours of tutorials plus trial and error to get good. if she enjoys tech and is ready to invest that time then it is worth it. if not, skip it. the only reason I bothered to learn was because my job involves recreation projects and this tool opened up a lot of creative options I never expected to use for peptides either.
