Don't stress about needing to reach the higher trial levels for maximum effect. Those are study doses, but real-world responses differ. I followed the schedule up to 15 mg of tirz for a full year with almost no scale movement after a while. Looking back, 5 mg actually gave me the strongest results and I should have stayed there longer instead of moving up on schedule. A friend stayed at 2.5 mg on my suggestion and dropped 30 lb quickly. With Reta I'm now using the smallest amount that still works and plan to stay there; 6 mg weekly is doing fine so far. Depends on goals, but I'm thinking long term.
Only finished half my lunch yesterday and left dinner unfinished today, which is unusual for me. Week two now. I don't notice any particular sensation yet but I'm putting it down to the Reta anyway. Interested to see what happens when the dose goes up. The Phase 3 numbers from Lilly looked promising. How many others are already at 9-12 mg? The studies seem to show the best outcomes around there.
