Reta update- 30+lbs lost - 3 1/2 months

13 replies10 peopleMay 26, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

What kind of weight loss results come from using retatrutide over three and a half months with gradual dose increases?

One user started retatrutide at 0.5 mg after already dropping from 260 to 205 lbs, then titrated weekly while holding calories at 1700-1900. Weight reached 192 lbs by early March with food noise largely eliminated and twice-weekly dosing added once hunger returned near the end of each week. Other users mainly offered encouragement or asked about body-fat tracking and height.

This stuff changed everything for me. I was at 260 pounds back in November 2024 and reached 205 pounds by February 4th without any GLP meds. That put me above 17 percent body fat. I began with half a milligram of Reta on the fourth and kept increasing by half a milligram each week. Appetite suppression was strong right away and I stayed full on small amounts while holding calories between 1700 and 1900 against a maintenance level near 2200. By the second week I was at 1 mg once weekly and felt fine. Weight kept coming down and hit 192 pounds by March 4th. Suppression stayed decent but started to fade five or six days after the shot, so I moved to 2 mg split into two injections per week.

95 lb and 36.5 percent in roughly six and a half months works out to about 1.3 percent per week. How exactly are you checking body fat percentage?

I just pinch the skin on my lower stomach and inner thigh to judge thickness. Those spots are where my stubborn fat tends to hang around the most.

Really impressive progress, thanks for posting the details.

Solid effort. And looking good while you're at it.

Congrats, that's huge progress both on the scale and in other ways. I had the same issue with constant food thoughts and tirz gave me that same unexpected sense of not worrying about getting hungry later. Right after my first shot I noticed I wasn't planning around possible hunger anymore and it felt freeing. The mental side has been just as big as the physical changes for me.

Exactly, that feeling of freedom is hard to beat. Thanks for the kind words and best of luck with your own progress.

Reading updates like this is encouraging and reinforces that the way we're handling these compounds makes sense. Well done.

Good job, cool to watch the progress and goals being met. Thinking about adding Tesa into my own Reta stack.

205 pounds at 17 percent body fat, what's your height?
