I just reconstituted three new peptides. After adding bac water the first one turned super bubbly almost effervescent. Filtering was difficult, the filter popped and the solution rushed into the vial. I had to repeat that twice and now it is practically sudsy. The third one had a similar filter issue and is now bubbly on the surface. Has this happened to anyone else and would you still use them? The middle one went smoothly with no bubbles. Anyone else running into problems with these 4mm filters?

Let them settle before doing anything with them. How violent was your bac water squirt?

Not with those particular peptides but when reconstituting others with bac stat water sometimes I intentionally slow the plunger so the vacuum does not pull it so quickly. That helps with the bubbles.

I hold the syringe so my fingers block the plunger from sliding too quickly when adding the water to the dried peptide. I move slowly and tilt the vial so everything runs along the inner wall, which keeps bubbles from forming. Once it's mixed I let it rest a while before running it through the filter. I ensure the link between syringe and filter sits firmly together. Pushing the solution through at an easy pace usually works, though sometimes switching to a thicker needle solves any remaining resistance. An open needle in the target vial to release pressure makes the transfer noticeably easier.

Thanks for the suggestions and the effort put in. I had been employing a blue 23 gauge needle. Would a larger size be better? Concerned it might core the stopper. The fluid entered very gradually, one drop at a time, even with a 25 gauge vent needle inserted. Is such a slow pace typical? In previous attempts, the process was either quite fluid or it got totally obstructed. I believe I'm overlooking some aspect of my technique.

Explain this to me in simple terms as if I were young. I'm receiving my initial order for study purposes soon. Based on my reading the steps involve using a big needle syringe to pull out the right quantity of the sterile water and carefully add it to the container with the powder. After that gently rotate it and allow it to rest. Is there a step I overlooked? Can you clarify what that filter thing is?

I once had the needle detach from the syringe while injecting and the contents sprayed everywhere.

I only employ 25 gauge needles for GLPs. The peptides might be thicker owing to increased concentration, suggesting additional dilution. This is merely my speculation... 23 gauge appears excessive. Moreover, insufficient time may have been given for the solution to blend in.

I'm wondering about the specific bacteriostatic water involved. It feels suspicious that reconstitution went wrong with several different peptides all together like that.

I kept thinking about the need to filter everything. The gradual dripping became acceptable to me over time. Eventually I came to enjoy that unhurried movement, laughing about it. A handful of other items containing more additives broke down extremely gradually, yet following the filtration step I felt content with the transparent outcome.

Yeah that checks out completely. I must have skipped the entire waiting period. The foamy batch received more fluid added in though three milliliters per ten milligrams while the other only got half a milliliter for the same amount. The sudden push of liquid coming in fast without letting anything calm plus rushing everything through the filter probably caused the issue. It cleared up better after a while. Appreciate the input.

Most folks see things the way you laid it out. Adding a filtration step is something a few choose to do. Threads on the topic turn up plenty of back and forth about possible upsides, so anyone can weigh them and make their own call. My immune system stays low from the meds I take, which is why I pay to filter every single vial. A short clip shows how it works. To be clear, I skip gloves and skip any extra filter on the vent needle. The person who posted the clip sells the items and once held the only supply for a maker's smallest size. The bigger size shows up more often, and the way you handle it can trap different amounts of the product inside. Either size keeps back a small share. I steer clear of strong mixes, and putting in a bit more liquid covers what gets left behind.

That news cheers me up. The ideas I had beforehand came from seeing a particular online demonstration that went by at a good pace. In it the guy was merely running some bacteriostatic water through the filter. I overlooked that fact until now.
