I like a 25G needle around 38mm long because it gives faster flow and reaches the bottom of most 5ml or smaller vials when moving liquid between them so nothing gets left behind. I just did six 10mg vials by putting 1ml bac water in the first one then moving that solution to the next vial and so on until everything ended up in the last vial as 60mg total for four 15mg doses at 0.25ml each, and the longer 25G needle made the whole process easy.
Hey everyone, I'm about to order needles for reconstitution but not sure which size is best. So far I've used 30G by 25mm, though I suspect 25G by 25mm might be an improvement. What sizes do the rest of you use and what would you recommend?
