I created some containers for vials using a 3D printer, and they fit on top of each other. Then I transferred my sets over to these containers. Every single one can fit fifty vials inside, and they fit much nicer when kept in the cold storage area. Also, since it's a sealed dark container, there's no chance for any light to reach them. They only come open when I put another set inside or when I need to take out one vial for mixing.
I'm wondering how others are keeping their supplies, whether for themselves or to sell later. For my own use, I want to store enough for several years ahead, but I'm unsure about the best containers. I've got a small freezer just for this purpose. My idea is to leave them in the original small boxes, place those inside a hard or soft dark-colored protective case, and then store everything in lidded clear plastic totes. From what I've read, if the freezer lacks any automatic defrost and I keep exposure to light minimal during openings, these should stay good for five to ten years. Because of the recent troubles, I'm thinking of building up a larger supply while it's still straightforward to obtain. The company is set to apply for approval early next year, which means there's still a window to get more in the current manner. I'd be interested in seeing what setups other people have come up with!
