How do people make their own protein shakes at home using everyday ingredients?

Forum users describe creating custom morning shakes with vanilla protein powder, yogurt, raw eggs from backyard chickens, collagen, oat bran, and ice. They note these versions feel more adjustable than store options and fit well when appetite is reduced. Several mention adding ingredients they already keep on hand and finding the approach convenient for daily use.

Eventually I put together my own using what was already around. Vanilla flavor is what I prefer after testing several. Yogurt is always in the fridge. Having chickens makes raw eggs simple to include regularly. A margarita with raw

Appreciate the suggestion. I should give this a shot myself. It might turn out cheaper than the pre-made protein drinks I've bought at the club store.

It can be modified endlessly. Most materials were already around so the formula basically came together on its own with the gear stored in my cupboard.

We create the mix ourselves using a container for shaking. Roughly eight to ten ounces of water, one portion of protein powder in the taste we prefer, one helping of collagen together with some oat bran go inside. A couple of ice pieces get included most times as well. This works as our regular lunch.

Collagen, huh? My spouse keeps some on hand. It'll be blended into the smoothie I prepare in the morning.
