Injection Time

Summary

When is the best time of day and how often should Reta be injected?

Users report trying morning, evening, or bedtime injections with no clear winner, as absorption takes 12-48 hours. Some stick to weekly dosing while others split into every 3-4 days or twice weekly to keep levels steadier or reduce side effects. Personal routine and whether side effects appear at peak blood levels seem to drive the choice more than any fixed rule.

Curious if there's an ideal time of day for these shots. Was leaning toward trying them first thing before any food. Also came across mentions of folks spacing them four or five days apart rather than sticking to the usual weekly schedule. Wondering what others make of that approach.

I administer the dose as soon as I wake up and then wait four days before doing it again. For instance a Monday dose means the next one falls on Friday.

Taking it right before sleeping suits me because drowsiness hits a few hours after the shot. That way I'm already lying down when it starts.

I give myself an injection following my first meal of the day. Four milligrams spaced at three-day intervals maintains elevated concentrations without much variation.

I have no favorite time for taking it. It could be morning or evening, and neither affects me differently. To get the complete impact, this stuff is meant to be taken every seven days, according to some chart that displays sharp increases. However, that approach doesn't suit me personally, which is why I split it into two doses each week. That method agrees with me fine. I experience no unwanted reactions.

Reaching the highest concentration in the bloodstream can take anywhere from half a day to two days following an injection, and this varies quite a bit between people. Because of the slow uptake, the exact moment of administration probably won't affect much, except maybe if unwanted reactions hit around the maximum point, such as feeling queasy or sensitive skin, in which case shifting when you take it might reduce the bother. Taking lesser amounts more regularly tends to ease issues or prevent that increased appetite that sometimes shows up several days later once the previous amount fades. Doing it weekly on a consistent schedule makes it simpler to keep track of.

do ya reckon pinning every three days makes sense as well? heard something about skipping meals ahead of injections after checking info on those specific peptides

PatientThistle71archiveNov 27, 2025

I space out my doses every third day because that way the effects stay steady all week long. I prefer doing it right before sleeping so any reactions from the shot happen while I'm out. Since my days start off hectic the evening works better for me and I guess it's all about what suits each person.
