NAD Dosage

Summary

What starting dosage and titration schedule works for NAD+

Users recommend beginning at low doses like 25 mg twice weekly and gradually increasing to 100 mg over several weeks to check tolerance. Some combine it with MOTS-c or SS-31 for added effects and note that benefits may fade without the other compounds. Methyl support is suggested because NAD+ depletes methyl groups. Individual responses differ, with some feeling little while others tolerate higher amounts immediately.

I'm new to this and looking for thoughts on amount and timing. Trying it out experimentally, would 100 MG twice a week be reasonable?

PatientTimber45archiveMay 19

Begin with 25 mg twice weekly for the first two weeks, then 50 mg twice weekly for the next two weeks, followed by 100 mg twice weekly for ten weeks.

I began with 50 mg twice a week for the opening two weeks, plan to move to 75 mg twice a week for two weeks after that, then reach 100.

Plenty of varying views on NAD+ amounts have come up often here. Try searching and reading through the older threads.

Your search could bring up this document if it hasn't already. The strongest gains seem to come from combining with MOTS-c. You can begin the NAD+ right away while waiting for the other to show up.

Thanks for sharing that. I'm getting ready to begin NAD+ along with mots and ss31 too.

Not sure how much of the content was generated by AI versus verified. The trial links and other details are there though, and the reasoning holds up reasonably.

Use whatever amount suits you. Begin at 25-50 mg to gauge tolerance. It doesn't do much for me personally but my mom responds well. She started at 150 mg subq immediately and had no issues. Keep in mind NAD uses up methyl groups similar to niacin flush though milder, so add methyl b, tmg or phosphatidylcholine if using larger amounts.

After following the earlier protocol I continued NAD+ alone for several weeks once the MOTS-c ran out and noticed the effects lessened somewhat. My records show about five weeks of NAD+ use until supplies ended. I may do an Epitalon run late summer then repeat the full SS/MOTS-c and NAD+ cycle in fall or winter when training time opens up.

I'm choosing to go ahead with it after all. My number is holding at two hundred twenty five.

100 mg is too high to begin with. Start at 25 mg and increase gradually.

SharpTimber72archiveMay 19

Already noted here but begin lower and increase slowly. I think I started at 25 mg every other day and worked up to 100 mg daily over about eight weeks. Later switched to 1000 mg oral NR daily because it raises steady cellular NAD better over time and is more stable. The injections give quicker but shorter effects. Checking your browser - reCAPTCHA
