Anyone have experience with ACD856, especially when compared to Semax?

Summary

User experiences with ACD856 versus Semax or similar compounds

ACD856 is a newer compound acting on TrkA, TrkB, and TrkC receptors with ongoing clinical development for Alzheimer's and depression. Early phase 1 data showed headaches and some lab changes at 10-90 mg doses. One user who tried both found acetylated Semax stronger and more immediate than ACD856 even when the latter was stacked, while another suggested waiting for more safety data before trying it.

I've been checking out experiences with Semax lately, and I've actually been taking it myself for about two weeks. Came across some Reddit discussions mentioning ACD856 as something comparable. It's a nootropic, but since Semax has similar effects, it seemed relevant here. ACD856 targets BDNF receptors similarly to Selank. It hasn't been brought up on this forum yet, so has anyone tried it? I'm interested in how its effects stack up against Semax.

This is something I only just learned about because I can't remember it ever being discussed by members during the period I've been active on the site.

It looks like this hasn't been around long based on what I've checked out. Just a few places seem to offer it and not any from around here.

This compound influences trka trkb and trkc receptors rather than only trkb in the manner of bdnf. It comes across as genuinely intriguing and looks like a serious medication candidate still moving forward in testing with initial human trials aimed at alzheimer's plus earlier work on other conditions such as depression. Even after those early trials I would not feel confident labeling it free of concerns for use since headaches appeared frequently one participant had raised amylase pointing to possible pancreas involvement and another showed increased liver enzymes though the connection remained unclear. Digestive side effects could appear as well. The findings permitted further testing yet they hardly qualify as free of issues. Amounts examined went from lower to higher daily levels but suitable quantities for people have not been settled. Its influence across three key brain signaling pathways suggests it might produce noticeable results while the parts played by trka and trkc lack the same level of clarity so surprise problems could surface. Holding off until later stage data arrives would seem preferable because the initial findings included some red flags and the overall mechanism is complicated.

I suppose you're correct on this. Maybe it's the sort of thing worth holding off on until further research comes out. Still, it's pretty fascinating how fresh compounds of that kind keep showing up nonstop.

I've tried the pair of them and here's what I noticed from personal use. The first one helps with focus but really shines when mixed together with other compounds. Adding a second substance made the results stand out more noticeably. The altered form of the next option appeals to me far more than the standard version. It kicks in right away through the nose and packs more punch than the opening choice no matter what else gets added. Taking it each morning alongside caffeine gives a solid lift in thinking and sharpness that I enjoy quite a bit. It ranks high among the ones I reach for regularly. The other altered version also helps me settle down at night ahead of turning in.

So those must be the versions with the added prefix that folks discuss? I have run into mentions of them a few times without knowing whether the results came through more strongly. All this makes for really helpful details. Appreciate it.
