I'm getting ready to begin my Survo experiments. The trouble is a 10mg kit with a 500mcg starting dose means it will take too long to finish before it goes bad. Can I reconstitute it and then freeze portions between uses to keep it viable longer?

I'd like the same information. I want to purchase larger 60mg kits because smaller sizes cost more per amount. I could mix the big one and divide it into smaller vials myself, then thaw as needed, but I'm unsure if that would cause problems.

I don't have the answer. I've seen that reconstituted tirz can be frozen, so maybe the same applies to other similar compounds, but nothing I've read confirms it outright.

There probably won't be much solid data for Survo specifically. What exists shows tirz holds up well to freezing, yet each freeze and thaw cycle causes a bit more breakdown. If it were my choice I'd portion it into single-dose amounts ahead of time and stick to one freeze-thaw cycle per portion rather than refreezing the same container.

Two points: first, actual users have told me reconstituted Survo can be frozen with no trouble. Second, when I began tirz through a medi-spa they told me to store the vial in the freezer and thaw before each use, and it worked without issues.

I'd be more concerned about keeping things sterile if I split it across several vials. I'd either take the reconstituted vial in and out of the freezer as needed since it thaws fast, or just extend the refrigerated time past the usual four weeks up to twelve weeks the way many others here do, provided the top is always swabbed with alcohol before every puncture including at mixing time.

I wouldn't freeze a pen cartridge if that's what you mean. When mixing a vial I don't see much risk of contamination if you divide it into several sterile vials. I'd mix it once and use a syringe filter to move it into a few vials in a single step.

Everything online indicates freezing isn't advised. Even if the compound itself isn't harmed, the expansion and contraction could still break the seal. I'd advise against it.

I freeze my lyophilized materials at minus forty and have never seen a seal fail. They all maintain a vacuum.

No need for concern. The advice against freezing comes from the original injector pen design that would be ruined by cold. Tests on the chemistry show the compound itself stays fine, and the crimped rubber stopper clearly wouldn't be affected either.

From what I've read the powder can be frozen, but once bac water is added freezing is not possible.

Thawing and refreezing after every use is the exact opposite of what I've been told to avoid. Reading through this place feels a lot like sorting through gym advice for the first time.

It's the opposite of what you've heard because people keep repeating the original mechanical warning about the pen rather than actual test results on the compound.

Others have covered this already, but if you plan to freeze, do it in vials so the liquid expansion doesn't harm the pen mechanism.

Leave extra headspace in the vial and keep it upright while freezing. The liquid expands on freezing and pressure in the headspace rises slightly, but not enough to cause damage.

Even the vials now sold by the big manufacturers carry instructions to discard if frozen. I don't see why anyone would take unnecessary risks when the material is inexpensive. There are worse outcomes than simply wasting a bit of peptide, and I tend to be extra cautious anyway.

Multiple freeze-thaw cycles harm peptides, so cycling the same material twenty times wouldn't be ideal. Refrigerating for twenty weeks after mixing also carries some risk of bacterial or fungal growth, especially with many punctures. It would make more sense to mix with bac water, divide into four or five smaller vials, freeze most of them, and thaw one at a time for a handful of doses each. That way there's only one freeze-thaw cycle and lower contamination chance.

I'm dosing 0.3 mg every six days for sixty days and have 16mg vials. I divided one into five sterile vials and froze four of them. I'll see in about ten weeks whether the frozen portions are still good. I expect they probably are.

The Survo or the frozen vial? I began Survo this week after receiving a bad batch and now have proper material. I divided it into two vials and froze one. I used 125mcg and it hit me hard. Maybe this compound just doesn't suit me, or perhaps my anxiety reacted to the different sensation. Time will tell.

I haven't tried it myself. A 30mg vial lasts me roughly eight weeks and I'm already stretching it. There's a good sale on larger 60mg kits though, and I'm considering buying two or three. Everything I've read indicates freezing reconstituted versions of these compounds is acceptable, and some compounding pharmacies have even shipped them frozen with instructions to store in the freezer between doses. So a 60mg vial could be filtered and split into three 20mg vials, which would be a convenient size. That setup could theoretically provide years of supply at a low cost per milligram.

Meant to give an update. I'm on week three with a reconstituted-then-frozen vial. My current dose is 0.9 mg once a week alongside 7 mg of tirz. The mixing was a bit different: I added 1 ml of bac water to a 16 mg vial, split that into five smaller vials of 0.2 ml each, and add more bac water after thawing. I did it this way to start at the 0.3 dose and have room to adjust without using too much bac water if the dose increases. The first vial stayed in the fridge. The second one was frozen, and I notice no difference in effect. Personal sensation isn't data, and the dose is small. I started the Survo to offset tirz fatigue, and there does appear to be some reduction in interest in food.

Survo has fewer studies than tirz because it's less common, similar to sema. Tirz is very stable. Reta is somewhat less so, but people continue to test its boundaries. It's unclear how Survo will behave since it acts on different receptors. Based on existing tests your plan seems sensible to me, assuming you divided a 16 mg vial into five parts. Did you mix up the numbers on the bac water amount?

Oops, I was rambling. Yes, it was 1 ml of bac water. And I misspoke; it was a 16 mg bottle I added the 1 ml to, not 13, then split into five. Thanks for catching that.
