A while back I thought about trying something like that for a short while. Honestly my credentials don't go beyond what those overseas providers already have. It really just moves the request for blind faith from their statements over to mine. The only change is that my statements would come from inside the country instead of abroad. I have no idea if anyone would see value in paying a bit more for that. I can't really tell.

This sure is involved. There appear to be numerous stages where extra germs could slip in, besides having to count on the filters and clean containers actually being pure.

Before trying it myself, I used to agree with that view. I figured if tests showed the batch had no germs, then running it through a filter would just introduce risks instead of helping. That's different now. The process turned out to be simple and fast, plus it makes sense with clean equipment on hand.

Upon noticing these items their unusual appearance left me uncertain since it differed from the exploration clips I had reviewed earlier. Four millimeters was also described as preferable. How well have they performed during your own use. Might they match completely aside from a fresh attachment at the luer lock.

That compound is thicker, so it's more likely to clog a small filter. I have larger just for it. I use small for everything else that's a few mL or under. Some use larger for everything, but the hold back volume is higher. I'm not giving that up, and I'm not using solution to flush it. It's like liquid gold now.

A few days back while filtering I lost track of what came next since my focus drifts easily lately. That prompted me to note everything down just for myself based on the clip I shared earlier. Plenty of syringes get used yet they cost so little that replacing them after any contact seems reasonable. With more practice I'll likely move faster and skip needing reminders altogether.
Clean the bench area well with alcohol solution and wait until everything evaporates before setting anything down. Treat every container top the same way and let them dry first.
Mix the dried powder following the usual method.
Pull the mixing syringe free from its needle and toss the needle safely.
Push a clean vent needle into the target container to balance pressure while moving liquid.
Put a new draw needle onto the empty syringe.
Pull every bit of the mixed solution into that syringe.
Remove the draw needle and discard it safely.
Connect a sterile filter straight onto the syringe tip then add another needle to the filter exit.
Push the exit needle through the target container top and force the solution across the filter.
For the optional rinse that recovers leftover liquid inside the filter housing leave the vent needle in place then twist the syringe off the filter inlet while keeping the filter and exit needle seated.
Fit a fresh draw needle to the empty syringe and pull in some sterile water matching or slightly exceeding the trapped volume.
Remove that draw needle and discard it.
Reattach the syringe holding the sterile water back onto the filter inlet.
Push the water slowly across the filter so any retained material reaches the target container.
Take away the whole filter setup along with the vent needle then seal the container. Swirl gently to blend everything and mark it with the details of what was processed the date and the liquid used.

I skip the filter flush step myself. A few folks avoid it since the material costs add up and losing that little bit doesn't matter much to them. Those extra steps came from following along with the demonstration. Since the final filtered batches get tossed before the vial runs out anyway, grabbing every last bit didn't seem necessary. At the moment my current peptides aren't the pricey kind. With a higher-cost option that called for plenty of injections I would probably make the effort to recover the leftover instead. Some new material is arriving soon and I'll mix it using a measured amount of diluent. Skipping the flush on that small volume makes sense here. The effort plus the raised contamination risk just isn't justified.

Understood. Both my spouse and I take Reta. Based on how big the vial is, I could mix up a pair. I've got a hundred inexpensive one-milliliter luer-lock syringes that let me draw ten to fifteen units of BAC water, detach the needles, and rinse through the filter.

Right now those aren't listed anywhere on the site. Once they're available again they'll let me know. When that happens I'll mention it in this thread. For the time being the 13s work fine for me though I'd try the 4 if it handles three milliliters without issue since others claim it does.

Recently I had a 4mm filter blow out on me so I'm thinking about dropping the whole filtration step from now on. An interview came up that covered endotoxin dangers and noted they extend to bacteria too. That shocking one is worth watching. I could try a 13mm instead and flush it using some pre-set aside reconstitution liquid but it seems pointless. Update: bypassing the automatic filter proved difficult. The delay showed up out of nowhere and felt pointless. The key spot hits at 34:33 in the recording.

Too much pressure might cause that problem. Pushing out two milliliters of the solution usually needs around half a minute. Maybe the type you're using isn't reliable. All the ones I've gotten worked fine up to now. When dealing with the shorter size, I detach the filter first, draw in some air, put it back on, and force the air out. Then I'm finished.

I applied quite a bit of pressure and each batch of ten took quite a while. Some adjustments were needed. The trial phase is tough right now. Haha.

I noticed needing extra force meant the filter was no good at all. Absence of any liquid from the tip after several seconds confirmed it as defective. This problem shows up more with certain companies than with others.

Thirteen millimeter filters are what I go with. I tend to dilute the product more than usual since bruising happens to me often with it. This results in a bottle containing twelve milliliters which is excessive for pushing through a four millimeter filter.

Grateful for the instructions. My mother gets frustrated since the initial procedures aren't straightforward to her yet. We're on a video call where I'm trying to guide her, but she works quickly and dislikes being instructed verbally. I share that trait myself, though she requested assistance so this is what she asked for. It's tough for me to catch her errors in time. For instance last weekend she attached the long needle back to the syringe with the filter, contaminating it. I suggested options like changing just the needle or replacing both, but she ignored and proceeded incorrectly by stacking filters after removing only the needle. Another interruption was needed. Having the steps written out as a guide would make things easier for her to follow independently without needing constant verbal input from me, which she tunes out anyway. I understand completely since I behave similarly.

Maybe this is incorrect yet a thread mentioned beginning the mixing process with a single milliliter so the solution can be forced via a four millimeter filter. The additional bacteriostatic water then gets added post filtering provided it's the H version.

I prefer avoiding any reuse of a bacteriostatic water container after it's held another substance. That same concern keeps me from rinsing things out. When preparing a weaker dilution I add nine milliliters of the water to a fresh sterile container first and then three milliliters to the peptide. Although swapping needles lowers contamination odds a lot and a brand new setup removes them altogether I have no problem with the larger needles here because they cost less than the smaller ones and any leftover liquid doesn't bother me.

From what others mentioned the medium sized ones strike me as handier overall. Those tiny versions block up fast and pushing harder just tears the material apart. One item went smoothly but trying the combined pair dragged on so long I quit and switched to an oversized version since the medium ones were missing. The medium size works better in general yet the smallest ones can still handle cases where nothing stops the flow. That small size also turned processing a big batch of yet another item into a long chore. They do attach to the twist lock syringes too.

I'm now considering switching over to the bigger size instead. Those tiny 4mm versions get thrown away way too often. It bothered me to lose extra liquid along with generating more waste material. Yet the 13mm ones manage extra rinsing steps without becoming blocked or breaking. That seems to fix the problem. Someone online suggested it earlier and I regret not paying attention.

My sole success with the smaller size happened after mixing in some older bacteriostatic water and deciding to run it through anyway. The other three tries went poorlyβ€”one took ages under strong force to finish, another blocked right away and popped the filter, and the last one just quit on me. The larger ones worked without issues. I've been flushing with at least twenty units afterward, though gas might work as well. Perhaps those were defective, even though they came from a trusted source.

This matches up with what happened during my own trials of these compounds. Around half processed without problems while the rest just didn't.
