When I add 3 ml of bac water to a 3 ml peptide it looks full, but after drawing it out, attaching a filter, and moving it to a new vial I end up about a quarter short. Some liquid is obviously staying in the filter. Am I doing this right? What does everyone else see?

How big is your filter? A video says the 4 mm filter holds about 7 units.

I used the 4 mm 22 µm version.

The hold-up is likely µL versus units; 7 units would be a huge amount. The site lists a hold-up volume of 1 µL for that filter.

I dunno, I went by what the filtering video said around the five-minute mark. I'm no expert though.

I take in a small breath after removing the pep but ahead of securing the filter. That step ensures it ends up fully cleared. It succeeds on about three fifths of the tries, without fail each time.

Blowing air through changes how much liquid stays trapped behind. I follow that method and end up with almost no waste.
