Stick with it until you reach your physical goals. You may need to act as if you're motivated until it becomes natural. Make a deliberate point of reaching out to friends or trying to laugh.
Been using Reta nine weeks now. Last week I raised the dose to 2 mg and the anhedonia came back. I feel fine but have lost interest in things I used to enjoy, except working out and eating well. I'm seeing friends less often and they notice I seem more serious, even though inside I'm okay. On the plus side I've quit alcohol and junk food, but I'm concerned about becoming less sociable. Has anyone else gone through this? Will it ease up later? I intend to keep going until September then taper, but I don't want the whole summer to pass without enjoying my usual activities. Any thoughts would be welcome.
