This morning during my usual shot of 50 mg NAD I must have nicked a vein. The needle met more than ordinary flesh and a coin-sized spot went dark purple right away. I stuck to my normal steps yet came out unlucky. Nothing hurt and no strange reactions showed up. All I got was a big mark from the bruise plus that nasty sensation from catching the vessel.

This sort of thing came up for me on two successive occasions lately. The six months right before that had zero instances at all.

Wasn't unpleasant or anything, only a bit odd. The device felt harder to push than normal, but I didn't want to insert it twice so kept going more gradually. The mark turned out smaller this time. It's on the thigh, and those areas show discoloration often enough anyway.

I'm wondering whether folks mean the needle went straight into a vein or only brushed against the side of one by mistake.

I hit the spot myself. Blood came out right away and it became a nasty mark immediately. My pace also decreased. People say hitting the blood vessel leads to feeling really ill quickly and can knock you out in no time. It's useful that I experienced the sensation. Next time something like that occurs I'd remove the needle and try injecting again using fresh equipment elsewhere.

No just hit a blood vessel. I'm not even close to being able to hit a vein with such a short needle.

I tried injecting glutathione into my thigh muscle the same way earlier this week. Removing the needle caused blood to start flowing out, leading to an immediate ugly bruise. However, the experience felt completely usual for me.

Once I performed an injection using testosterone similarly. There's a slight risk of introducing minuscule quantities right into the veins by accident. This took place for me as well, and the effects can differ. In the case of testosterone it leads to a breathing response causing coughing similar to taking in toxins. It felt quite startling. The episode continued for around two to three minutes. My physician confirmed the same along with an AI-generated overview.

Tried the same thing myself a single time. That mark hung around longer than usual. I go with 31 gauge needles eight millimeters long too.

Half the cartridges arrived with the internal stopper facing backwards. Quite a few devices never generate the pressure needed to shift it forward, above all the second-version ones.

I had that same problem with the injector too. The tiny 0.6 ml portions didn't deliver results rapidly. Now it's far superior after I build my own devices, without any lumps left.

I wonder how long that kind of discoloration would last. From my previous marks acquired through athletic pursuits and off-road motorcycling, they usually cleared up in about two to three weeks.

Got this painful mark on my leg right after beginning with the peps while my husband was still weighing whether to start. Seeing that made him take even more time before he finally decided to give them a go 😂😂😂

Haha exactly the waiting period until bilirubin along with biliverdin both show up then fade out.

Each time after placing the needle I retract the plunger to test for blood return. Blood coming in means a vessel so I pull out and start over at another place.
