Semax + Selank + 5-Amino-1MQ for sustained focus and drive

Summary

What real-world effects do users report from stacking Semax, Selank, and 5-Amino-1MQ, especially regarding energy, anxiety, and daily performance?

One user described a long, stressful, fasted day where the three compounds appeared to maintain focus, reduce overthinking, and blunt emotional spikes. Others shared personal observations of calm reactions to stressors and steady energy that disappears when dosing stops. Dosing practices vary widely with no human trial data to guide them, and some participants note the compounds feel essential while others remain unsure whether they would notice any change.

Appropriate starting dose and schedule for 5-Amino-1MQ, with suggestions ranging from 1 mg daily to 10 mg daily and differing views on whether breaks cause crashes.

I wanted to post about my experience because plenty of people here question whether these three compounds do anything. My current routine includes 2 mg reta every 3.5 days along with Semax at 500 mcg once, Selank at 250 mcg once, and 5-Amino-1MQ at 5 mg twice. I started at 5 a.m. handling animals until 8:30, then worked outside in the heat before a 3.5-hour stressful meeting that ran until late afternoon. I had last eaten the previous day at 17:00, so I was well into a fast. Semax seemed to keep me sharp and direct, while Selank stopped me from spiraling into worry. I have tried modafinil in the past for similar reasons.

Did you inject all three subcutaneously? I have been wondering about that route for the whole set.

How did you reconstitute the 5-Amino-1MQ, just with bac water? I had bad injection site reactions with subq and switched to oral instead. Are your subq shots going okay now?

Yes, both Semax and Selank are done subq. Nasal delivery is an option but I have never liked it, so I pin instead. For the 5-Amino-1MQ I use 3 ml bac water with 50 mg and have had no issues through seven vials so far. The first four vials were drawn with a regular syringe and the last three with a Gansulin pen.

Another change I noticed is how anxiety has dropped. In a parking lot I felt something on my leg and saw a large house spider. Instead of swatting it off right away I got out of the car calmly with it still there, then flicked it away once outside. The whole thing felt completely ordinary with no rush of adrenaline or cortisol, and only later did I realize how unusual that was for me.

How are people deciding on doses for 5-Amino-1MQ? Mouse studies used 32 mg/kg/day or higher, which would scale to very large amounts in people. Are there any human studies the usual sources have missed?

You cannot move mouse numbers straight across to humans; you have to apply a human equivalent dose. For an 80-100 kg person that lands around 200 mg per day from the animal data. There are still no human trials, so everyone using it is experimenting. Many places suggest under 1 mg daily. I looked at what others report with oral use, converted that to subq, and settled on 10 mg per day as reasonable. It has worked for me. When my last vial ran out and I waited for more I had a full-day crash where I stayed in bed, which confirmed the compound was doing something.

I am thinking about adding 5-Amino-1MQ subq. After reading around, would you say 1 mg daily with five days on and two off is a sensible place to begin? I am still new and adding things gradually.

Starting at 1 mg seems fine. The five-on-two-off pattern depends on the individual. It did not work well for me because after roughly 24 hours without it I would crash once I had adjusted to the extra energy.

PlainMarble54archiveJul 14

I am very unsure this would do anything for me. Still worth trying?

It has become one of the main peptides I rely on and would not want to drop. Worth trying if you are curious.

CopperFenwick10archiveJul 14

I have been using 5 mg on a five-on-two-off schedule together with reta and seen solid weight loss results.

Thanks, I will begin with 1 mg and monitor how it feels.

What changes have you noticed from it? I already know what to expect from the other two but have not seen many personal accounts with this one.

Mainly energy and motivation. Before, after walking one of my dogs for an hour and a half I would only want to shower and rest for hours. With this compound I started going out more often, took longer routes, felt like interacting with people, and still had enough left to work at my desk for a couple more hours afterward.

PatientFenwick91archiveJul 14

Thanks for the account. I have tried all three and felt little from the first two, so I wonder if the benefits you describe would appear from the third compound by itself. I am currently using 25 mg daily of it and suspect I could handle more. The clean energy is noticeable and I can see keeping it in my routine long term.
