So, is this actually useful? Has anyone tried one like this? 🤔
Just saw a vial label applicator now...
Are vial label applicators actually useful or worth buying?
Users report mixed results with these tools. Some find them helpful for getting straight labels when presentation matters, like for resale, while others say the devices slow them down or don't improve much over freehand application. A few prefer making their own or simply accept crooked labels for personal use.
What this discussion establishes- Alignment tools can produce straighter results but often take longer to use.
- Resellers tend to value neat labels more than personal users.
- Some users return applicators after finding them ineffective.
- DIY 3D-printed versions are considered as an alternative.
- Brand loyalty influences some purchase decisions even when doubtful.
Whether the time cost of using an applicator outweighs the benefit of straighter labels compared to freehand application.
Still openHow well these devices perform for the average user without practice or specific vial sizes.
Nothing here is advice.
It seems pretty awesome and I have a feeling I might create something close using my 3D printer.
Since I sell them to other people the labels need to look professional on the outside. For keeping everything just to myself though some tilted ones would work okay.
I bought one through an online store. It sort of functions but drags the whole process out way more than expected. I was getting along fine before trying it so maybe the issue was how I handled things. Probably best to pass on it if labels aren't a problem for you.
If I planned on selling, the looks would be something I'd focus on. For my personal needs though, white labels that are a little crooked are perfectly okay.
Getting so close to ideal really heightens how satisfying the real deal feels! Hoping for examples done without guides, shown only through clips.
I've started wondering whether this could end up making my whole process slower instead... Still I might pick one up just to test it out since I oddly like gathering all my items from one maker for some reason haha
