Peptide Freezer Storage

Summary

What are effective ways to store peptide kits and vials in a freezer?

Forum users describe various boxes and cases suited for holding 3ml peptide vials, with some fitting on shelves or in freezer doors and others allowing dense stacking in mini or chest freezers. Several mention adding ice packs or ziplocks for extra security, while one plans to keep kits intact with desiccants for long-term storage and move others into high-capacity vial organizers. Large quantities are accommodated through multiple cases that convert between vial sizes.

I wanted to mention a box that looks great for keeping kits frozen. Sixteen kits with 3ml vials fit inside, and it sits well on shelves or maybe even in the door.

I'll place every kit inside its own plastic bag after setting a cold pack down at the base to start.

I keep a dedicated small freezer just for my collection. My storage includes one rack for 288 containers, a pair of 63-container racks, another for 60, plus three that fit 50 each. This setup accommodates 624 of the smaller 3ml containers. That 60-container rack adapts simply for the larger 5ml ones. Right now I've got just 40 of those bigger vials.

I leave the item inside my large freezer unit since having a frozen pack in the holder gives me reassurance.

I really enjoy these cases quite a bit. They hold eighteen items comfortably with extra space left. Yet there's enough space to rotate a single row and fit four in a line rather than three, allowing for twenty total. The borders of the sets overlap slightly in that setup, yet the top still shuts properly. I remove every piece of the soft cushioning material and replace it with thicker foam that has sticky backing. I do the same thing with the other similar products too.

Thanks for both of those!

What fantastic cases these are I only wish I had learned of their existence prior to choosing a different model instead.

Sure does look nearly identical to the example shown.
