Hello, I've gone through the TRIUMPH trial info and the safety papers from journals. Started lower since my BMI is below what they used in studies. Perhaps not the best call but I preferred caution. Do you think I should stick with 1mg for four weeks minimum, even if effects are minimal at that level? Appreciate it 🙂
I skip fb, insta and tiktok. Mostly been looking at reddit and some pieces online. Checked the Eli Lilly site as well, though parts of it are tough for me since English isn't my first language and I lack any biochemistry background. That's the main reason I'm here, to pick up more on the topic away from the usual reddit clutter.

If this is Reta then 1mg isn't a medical dose yet. I began with 2mg and went up to 4mg after a month. When sides show up and it's rough, hold at 1mg for four weeks. No sides means go to 2mg on the next shot and hold there four weeks. After that choose whether to reach 4mg or remain at 2mg. Good luck.
Wondering how things are going for you lately. Has any suppression occurred yet?
For five weeks I've been using one or slightly more than that. Today I thought about trying two but instead went with one point five to check my reaction in the following week. I'm also taking five milligrams of Tirz. I keep questioning if I should stick to just a single one yet I'm combining both.

That really helped me out, thanks!
After beginning on two milligrams for seven days with zero issues, I've continued at two and a half milligrams for the past three weeks. The weight hasn't dropped much at all. Should I try going higher?

I switched to four milligrams when I did the following injection.

It takes four weeks to build up to that starting two milligram amount, yet the impact on shedding pounds stays limited before hitting a stronger dose. For this medication, people generally agree that four milligrams or higher are needed to activate the glucagon part, while the GIP part stays weaker at the beginning levels. Right now, only the early GLP1 actions are happening, which slows digestion and curbs appetite. The key thing to check is whether food intake has dropped. That's really the sole reason weight would come off during these low starting amounts.

Hunger never hits me these days. Meals happen on a fixed schedule so I take in enough protein along with other essentials. Skipping food entirely for hours on end seems possible, yet everyone knows that isn't healthy.

Did you work out your maintenance calories and are you sticking to eating less than that? Before the amount goes up the rest of the effects probably won't show up much. From what I can tell those added upsides stay pretty weak at just two milligrams.
I've been taking this amount weekly for about eight weeks now and the impacts haven't faded yet. Might raise it in the near future. I'm getting close to finishing my dieting phase so I'll have to figure out how to handle staying steady or easing off.

Right now my calories total roughly 1100 instead of the 1746 I target daily, from 74g carbs, 21g fat and 115 protein. This creates a very large deficit.

It turned out well and changes showed up after that. The drop in appetite felt solid during the process. Fluids made a difference since not taking in enough led to holding extra pounds in my experience. Walking plus some strength sessions added up to a few hours each week and that eased the cholesterol bump while fat came off plus it cut down on stone risks from the shift. Too little liquid sets off hormones that tell the kidneys to keep sodium and water. Taking in more shuts that down so the stored amount gets released. Low fluids also slow metabolism and blur hunger signals which can mean extra intake. Sipping steadily across the day beat downing big amounts at once. Standard targets run near ninety ounces total for women and one twenty five for men counting everything with tweaks for activity or heat. Light colored urine marked good balance while darker shades flagged a need for more. Heavy salt or carb intake piled on fluid weight when liquids stayed low.
You nearly copied the exact handle I use 😳. It took six or seven weeks before I noticed any effects at all. My reaction matched the one you described from that medication. After the starting small dose I expected results to show up the next morning.
Time has passed since that message got mentioned by someone else. Any new details on how things went? After just seven days at the lower amount, the next step was two milligrams, but with extra time already spent there it made sense to remain at one milligram for a full month. That lets the medication accumulate properly. The trial schedule was followed with a few personal tweaks, reaching ten milligrams before shifting into the steady phase. Early side effects seemed unlikely at the starting level, though anything can happen. Every level stayed in place for a month before any increase. The initial reaction faded on its own after a while. Four milligrams felt like the right move next. Meals included occasional starches such as a plain potato rather than sweets, and that approach supported further reduction even when not intended. During the steady phase extra pounds came off without effort.
