Eloralintide research day 1

Summary

user experiences switching from tirzepatide to eloralintide for continued fat loss and hunger control

One user reports stopping tirzepatide after 19 days with no rebound hunger and continued slow loss, then starting eloralintide which produced noticeably stronger appetite suppression from the first dose onward. The same person lost another kilogram over two weeks on 1 mg weekly eloralintide while also using daily tesamorelin, and notes the remaining abdominal fat has softened. Others discuss plateaus versus stalls, the value of daily fasting, protein intake plus training to preserve muscle, and whether residual belly tissue is fat or loose skin.

19 days ago I stopped using Tirz and so far nothing bad has happened. I even dropped another kilogram. For the past six weeks I had been fasting every day from 5 AM until noon while on a 2 mg weekly maintenance dose of Tirz plus three 300 mcg shots of the Ipa plus CJC no-DAC blend, which I also quit a week ago once the cycle finished. I suspect the daily fasting taught my metabolism to keep hunger down on its own. I quit the Tirz injections once I noticed the usual day-five and day-six hunger noise had disappeared and wanted to see how long that would continue. It is now day 19. I am sitting at 72 kg after having lost 30 kg over 41 weeks. A few weeks back I ordered some Elora to test whether it would finish off the last half-kilo or so of belly fat I still carry. It arrived yesterday evening and I started it then.

I laughed out loud. Nice work. I am curious how you will react to the new one because you seemed to respond very strongly to the Tirz.

Thanks. The Tirz response really was strong, but I never pushed the dose higher even when weight stayed flat for a while. I figured the body needed those flat periods to adjust to the new weight and would start moving again on its own. The last flat stretch lasted six weeks at 76 kg and only broke once I added daily fasting. The first response to Elora felt quicker and more intense than anything I got from Tirz. I have never had hunger this low before.

KeenFenwick72archiveJul 24

Could what you are calling fat just be loose skin? It does not look like much fat is left. The weight loss is impressive though. Are you planning to add anything to help build muscle? I restarted lifting because I do not want to lose too much muscle either. I am down 10 kg in eight weeks and would like to end up looking lean and a bit bigger rather than skinny.

IronMarble78archiveJul 24

Good luck with the rest of it. Hope the Elora works out. I am also interested but waiting to see a COA first. Just make sure you keep eating enough and keep training. It takes years to look like a bodybuilder, so that probably will not happen, but adding muscle is still worth it for health reasons. You do not want to end up skinny-fat.

LevelAlder29archiveJul 24

Thanks for laying out your experience in detail. I am very curious and waiting for my own Elora to show up. I also like what you said about handling plateaus without rushing the dose higher. I recently went up to 6.5 mg of Tirz after a slow period and did not have your patience. The study protocol would already have me at 15 mg, but I am trying to go up slowly while still losing a pound a week. The stronger hunger effect you noticed is interesting too. I have almost no food noise on Tirz but still get normal hunger, so less of that would be welcome.

No, he is sure there is still some fat under the skin in a few spots. I am older and have the same situation. Just a little extra softness on the belly, chest, and lower back that will not leave. It really is a fight.

GreyAlder39archiveJul 24

Well done. Congratulations. I liked the little croissant detail too.

I treat stalls and plateaus as two separate things. A plateau is just staying at the same weight for a long time. A stall for me means the weight starts creeping back up. The way I handle them is different too. If it were a real stall I would probably raise the dose slowly, but I do not treat a plateau as an emergency. That mindset helped me stay patient. While I waited I changed habits such as cutting out certain foods and changing meal timing and portion sizes. Desserts, cookies, fresh bread, and Belgian fries were the items I had to drop. Once I saw the fat that actually comes out of those fries when they cool, it became easier to stop eating them.

Especially a really crispy one, right? You terrible Frenchman. I am the same way but I limit myself to one or two a week now. I even changed my driving routes to stay away from the good bakeries.

There is not much fat left, but what is left is fat. I am slowly losing it, though it is harder at my age. I eat plenty of protein, train every day, and use the Ipa plus CJC no-DAC blend to help keep muscle. It is not as strong as HGH or TRT, but that is fine with me. My last DEXA and blood work a month ago showed no muscle loss and everything looked good except vitamin D.

Rude. I was minding my own business and you had to remind me these things exist and I could go get one today.

If it helps, our French and Belgian friends here might be annoyed that we are even calling it a croissant.

NorthWillow72archiveJul 24

The guy in question does not seem to care at all, which is one of the things I like about him. I am just leaning into the stereotype of the French person getting upset about food that is not made the traditional way. I am trying to stay out of trouble.

SlowBramble67archiveJul 25

It was not meant personally. I think I just linked the two because both are French. Just joking around. I like the way you post and the things you add to the conversation.

NorthWillow72archiveJul 25
↳ replying to @SlowBramble67

It really was not personal. The fact that he does not seem bothered is actually one of my favorite parts. I just went for the classic French-person-getting-mad-about-food stereotype.

RustBramble70archiveJul 25

That is a pretty impressive story. Good for you.

RustBramble70archiveJul 25

I am still looking for a way to stop noticing attractive women. I suppose getting older will eventually do it, if I can ever accept it. Do not count on it. I am in my seventies and it still has not happened.

NorthQuill51archiveJul 25
↳ replying to @RustBramble70

Am I reading that correctly? You guys are trying to avoid attractive women and finding it difficult?

RustBramble70archiveJul 25
↳ replying to @NorthQuill51

Good catch. That is not exactly what I meant.

SlowBramble67archiveJul 25
↳ replying to @NorthQuill51

Thanks for the offer, but I am not interested at all.

Are you talking about the chefs on cooking shows who take a whole piece of meat and turn it into two tiny plates hidden under a baby carrot? I would rather have simple home cooking that is generous and filling. While we eat we talk about what we ate before, what we are eating now, and what we are going to eat later. That is our kind of peace. We even have a special word for food that is just for pleasure. Now I need coffee so I do not walk over to the bakery across the street.

SlowBramble67archiveJul 25

Do not worry about it. He just misread the line and thought it was an invitation.

I had trouble following what you were saying at first and for a moment wondered if something was off. Then I realized it might be some kind of gay reference. I was not questioning your manhood, Mr. Peptide Man. I was just surprised you wanted to avoid attractive women because that is what the post said.

BrightKettle28archiveJul 25

You cannot imagine how good those crispy Belgian fries fried in beef fat taste with the right sauce.

SlowBramble67archiveJul 25
↳ replying to @NorthQuill51

I notice attractive women, but my wife does not like that. I would probably be happier if she were more outgoing, but I try to avoid creating problems. And no, I do not plan to use peptides forever. My target weight is already five kilograms behind me. Keeping muscle while on Tirz was important and I managed it, but I am not going to keep pushing my body to make more hormones than it naturally would.

Get your total testosterone down around 100 and that should take care of it.

ELORA THIRD WEEK UPDATE. I took the third 1 mg shot of Elora four days ago on 6 August. I am still using it by itself with no other GLP-1. I am also taking 1 mg of Tesa each day while fasted. I have lost 1 kg over the two weeks I have been on it. The appetite suppression keeps getting stronger each week, probably because of the long half-life. On day four I still have no hunger and only eat because I need to. I am not planning to raise the dose. The belly fat has also changed and no longer feels like one solid mass. I wish I had started this earlier. I will post another update in a few weeks.
