That seems logical.
Any bets that the company wants these firms not for shots against illnesses but to counter another outfit whose approach uses similar scaffolding to stretch the dosing interval of their medication to once a month or longer?
The thread centers on speculation that the buys are driven by cash from a flagship product and may target technology to extend dosing intervals on weight-loss drugs rather than traditional disease vaccines. Participants note the acquirer has been buying both promising IP and potential rivals, with some preferring the spending go to research over buybacks. Others float conspiracy angles about engineered pandemics or global control, while one reply simply agrees the move makes sense.

They have been snapping up firms at a rapid clip lately. With all that cash flow they are grabbing outfits holding promising IP and also ones that could end up competing with it.
Yeah, the cash comes from steep direct-to-consumer prices plus what they pull in from insurers. That product is a real moneymaker.
That is how they will take over everything! (Dr. Evil laugh)
Absolutely, and even though I am no fan of big pharma I would rather see the money go into research so a large firm can actually finish developing these drugs instead of share buybacks.
I personally think they are going to launch a new pandemic and push everyone to get their fresh vaccine, sort of like another big player did, and folks will just line up for it.
Basically they could pay someone overseas to slip a custom new pathogen into products before they ship. The earlier one came from that same region, and plenty of peptides and wellness items are still made there too.
