Stacking Tirz and Reta from the Start

4 replies5 peopleAug 4, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Should I begin stacking tirz and reta right away instead of titrating tirz alone after a previous slow response?

Users describe varied approaches to combining the two peptides. Some reached the top tirz dose and hit a stall before adding reta, while others introduced low-dose reta early in titration or switched due to side effects. Reported outcomes include continued weight loss past previous plateaus and total losses exceeding 60 lb or 30 % body weight. Doses in ongoing stacks range from moderate combined amounts to higher tirz with added reta.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Timing of the second peptide: some waited for a plateau on the first, others added it early or because of side effects.

Whether beginning with both produces meaningfully different long-term results than sequential addition.

Nothing here is advice.

Has anyone begun or restarted by using both reta and tirz together? Background: I took tirz for two years until I became pregnant over a year ago. Breastfeeding has ended and I took my first tirz shot yesterday. Prior response to tirz was slow because of PCOS/PMOS, so I wonder if stacking immediately makes more sense than repeating the same slow process. For those who stack now, did you reach a plateau on one before adding the other, or did you start both at once? Current weight 310, goal 200.

I combine both, but reached the top tirz dose before starting reta. Stayed at 15 mg tirz until progress stopped, then added reta. Now take 5 mg reta along with the 15 mg tirz. This combination moved me past the stall and produced roughly 30 % body-weight loss.

I began combining them early. Added reta at 0.5 mg while already on 5 mg tirz. Current doses are 9 mg tirz and 2 mg reta. Tirz started end of January, reta around end of March. More than 60 lb lost since February 15.

Side effects drove the change for me more than a stall. Started reta alone, but skin sensitivity forced two stops. First at 4 mg weekly, which led to skipping a dose and trying split dosing; again at 8 mg weekly. This time the dose is lower and tirz has been added instead.

I have combined the two for over a year at 8 mg tirz and 6 mg reta with no plan to stop.
