Selank helping sleep?

4 replies4 peopleMay 11, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Does higher-dose NA-Selank promote sedation and better sleep?

Multiple users report that 750 mcg to 1 mg NA-Selank taken about an hour before bed produces noticeable sedation and uninterrupted sleep. One person tracked sleep metrics after adding 800 mcg NA-Selank Amidate plus DSIP and recorded a rise in combined REM/deep sleep from 52 minutes to nearly 2 hours. Another found intranasal Selank near bedtime triggered nightmares instead and therefore stopped using it that way.

Is anyone else noticing that larger amounts of NA selank, say around 750 micrograms, make them quite drowsy and improve their sleep? That's what I'm experiencing.

Maybe it's due to the anxiety-reducing properties similar to benzos.

Selank works well for me to begin winding down. CJC/Ipa used to give solid sleep but then I started getting intense night terrors and brief sleep paralysis, so I moved it away from bedtime and those issues ended. Now I use 800 mcg NA-Selank Amidate subq about three and a half hours before bed plus 300 mcg DSIP subq an hour and a half before bed. After a week the numbers changed: prior 90-day average was 7.3 hours total sleep with 0.87 hours REM plus deep combined; recent eight nights average 7.18 hours total with 1.96 hours REM plus deep. Deep/REM share went from 11.9 % to 27.2 %. DSIP doesn't work for everyone. After this run I may add Pinealon and try Tesamorelin in the evening for the GHRH effect I'm currently missing.

Yes. On days I pin Reta I use 1 mg NA Selank one or two hours before bed and stay asleep the whole night. The intranasal version doesn't do the same for me; if I take it too close to bedtime I get odd nightmares, which has happened twice, so I'm steering clear of that approach.

Good to hear I'm not the only one. I usually take it roughly an hour before bed and sleep soundly, then feel fine the next morning as well.
