I have pens and prepare them for family members, but I mostly prefer a syringe for myself. For low-dose items where a vial lasts a long time, a pen makes sense. With bigger doses like glutathione where a vial only lasts a few shots, the pen feels like extra hassle. I never reuse syringes. The pen advantage is getting a fresh sharp needle every time since it does not get dulled drawing from the vial first.
Hello again! Lots of people here mention pens. I've stuck with insulin needles, but that means going through 5-6 a day depending on my stack. I tried wiping them with alcohol, only to learn it strips the silicone layer and makes the injection sites hurt more. Curious what others think about whether pens are worth getting.
