Week 6: lost 10.56% of my starting weight!! should i keep losing?

Summary

After losing over 10% body weight on low-dose reta, should I continue toward a 20% goal or maintain at current level while stretching a single vial?

The original poster is happy with current appearance after 10.56% loss but originally aimed for 20%, plans to keep low doses for maintenance due to reduced food noise, and is using one 20mg vial until empty around week 12 without filtering. Others note the common 4-week guidance after mixing is not strict, with some comfortable going to 3 months if refrigerated and no visible issues, while one prefers staying conservative at 30 days.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

How long a reconstituted vial remains usable: one user follows a strict 30-day limit while another routinely goes to three months if no degradation is visible

Still open

Whether to stop losing at current weight or push toward the original 20% goal

Nothing here is advice.

Just wanted to share my progress dropping weight. Dosing so far went like this: weeks 1-2 at 1 mg, weeks 3-5 at 1.5 mg, and week 6 at 2 mg which I'll keep through week 10. I'm torn because I like how I look now but originally wanted to reach about 20 percent off my starting weight. Not sure which way to go. Started with one 20 mg vial like most beginners and kept doses low to make it last longer before sorting out other sources. Worried about gaining back if I stop so thinking of staying on it for maintenance too, since the drop in hunger has been really helpful. At 1 mg a week for upkeep that 20 mg vial would last years and a bigger one even longer, though being young maybe the larger size can wait. This stuff is great.

What's your timeline for finishing that one container? Pushing to six weeks goes past the usual four-week guideline. Have you run it through a filter? If things feel fine at this point, you might hold steady for a while. Or move forward.

I wasn't aware there was a suggested four-week limit! 😨 I'll stick with it till nothing's left, which lines up near week 12. I skipped any filtering step since I don't know the process. My plan is to stick with tiny amounts going forward. Maybe I'll order a smaller 10-15mg set afterward to stay at low levels without exceeding the time frame mentioned. Appreciate it πŸ™πŸ»

I don't treat a month as an absolute cutoff. Typically my personal maximum runs closer to three months provided nothing looks off and it's stayed in the refrigerator.

I usually play it safe with how I handle things. Many folks approach this in other ways. There's no strict guideline on it. This comes from what I've observed and what people mention regarding extending their usage periods. Right now, I'm reaching a level with this item where it won't run out within a month. I'm unsure how to proceed. It's inexpensive to discard, yet I dislike throwing things away. I might experiment a bit further here. I still need to decide on my own. There are plenty of others around who know more about this than I do.

Your way looks okay to me. I follow a similar schedule myself, waiting about a month after the first scan. People have all sorts of views on timing, and some prefer to go beyond that, which is fine by me.
