Hey everyone, been wondering about dividing bigger freeze-dried bottles down into smaller portions on my own. Say I started with one holding sixty milligrams total and split that into six fresh containers each holding ten milligrams before sealing them shut again. Everything would need to stay clean throughout the steps of course. Curious whether others have tried something similar and what problems came up or which items proved handy like a controlled workspace plus implements for moving and weighing the material along with a balance. Just mulling over the notion here.

The freeze dried material ends up including extra ingredients beyond the actual drug. That listed amount includes additives mixed in with it. You never know for certain what ended up in the container. For me it is not something I would risk using.

After mixing it into liquid I suppose it might be doable but definitely not the powder. It follows the exact same idea behind not dividing up a capsule's contents. There's no way to know what portion is filler and what is the actual substance. You just can't tell. The amount listed is only for the drug and not the complete weight found in the vial.

From my experience the items I handle often list the ingredients on the container. I run into words for things like acidity adjusters made from minerals or fillers such as particular carbohydrates and sugar alcohols. Turns out the whole mixture is trickier than it seems at first. When handling this just for me and a small group I stick to standard precautions with a locking syringe setup. That means dedicating separate containers for each portion along with fresh needles each time without needing additional procedures. The issue arises when keeping leftovers and assuming they match the cleanliness of an untouched pharmacy container. It becomes unnecessary effort for personal slow use of the full amount. In cases of worry dividing into portions that fit a month's consumption works better. For my lower usage that could mean several containers. Risks remain present regardless so a reduced set might suit better at low intake levels. More containers lead to increased needle entries. My own limit allows up to a dozen entries across three months provided the liquid stays clear without particles in the mixed version. For self-mixed batches I limit to about a month and a half though I might extend slightly if necessary. The key choice for me involves the water type for mixing and beyond basic cleanliness habits like cleaning the space using protection on hands avoiding contact with the tips and swapping them out each use that stands out most for maintaining safety.

I chose the smaller ten milligram set when I bought mine. The bigger options might look like they cost less for each part but safety ends up mattering more.

After going through with the purchase I put mine away in the cold while gradually building up my amount to where finishing the whole thing quickly wouldn't be a problem. During that period I went with a kit that had less milligrams.

I shared the same worry and pointed out the issue. Still I doubt it would prove fatal though it's clearly not ideal. Some folks reuse one mixed container over ten weeks or more which feels excessive in my case. In my view if handled properly by using separate containers each one gets punctured only five times total. Even so waiting five months to finish the final container seems extreme. If I were in a pinch I'd stick to three containers over three months possible with a sixty milligram size at a five milligram level. What I think we should all suggest is keeping those larger containers for when the amount increases and getting a better fitting set instead. Also a single sixty milligram container lasts three months when beginning at two point five and increasing gradually. I prefer starting without side effects and avoiding rapid drops raising the amount for stronger results instead of going slow since studies indicate most progress happens within eighteen months regardless. Following that approach the initial container might stretch to three months with some risk but after that none would exceed two months. And if everything looks fine with no particles I'd just finish one container in two months rather than dividing it which makes the splitting approach pointless anyway.

I see an issue when trying to divide the powder because it contains mostly inactive stuff mixed with a small amount of the active peptide. You can't tell how evenly that active part spreads out if you just separate the dry powder into three parts. In the worst scenario, one container might get the entire active amount while the others have none. Instead, dissolving everything in the bacteriostatic water first and mixing it thoroughly lets you split the liquid into three containers knowing each will have about the same strength. Following clean techniques means the mixture faces contamination risk only during the one pouring step into the new containers. Those three should stay usable without issues over time. For me, avoiding possible germs is better than ending up with portions where you don't know the strength.

At first I figured nobody recommended doing so yet checking once more confirmed the idea was to separate the powder straight which seems really bad. One hundred percent opposed to separating the powder dissolve initially then swirl to combine and pause before portioning out the mixed solution assuming anyone wished to take it that step further.

Dividing that dried material safely while keeping everything clean seems nearly unfeasible. Since it's lyophilized, opening the container lets moisture from the surroundings get in right away, shortening how long it lasts. You'd need precise scales and tools that are germ-free, plus a clean space without air, to portion it out and seal it back into containers without contamination, which is tough to manage personally. Likely you'd introduce some airborne microbes into the mix. Equipment handles this process automatically instead. Getting tinier containers or mixing with liquid then chilling the extras makes better sense. A single cycle of freezing and thawing probably won't harm the substance much. Keeping it uncontaminated that way beats attempting to split the dry stuff, even if it's uniform.

Getting accurate measurements each time seems doubtful. Nearly everything that matters might collect in a single bottle, leaving the remaining ones filled with mostly inactive powder. Say one bottle has forty milligrams while the other five have just four milligrams apiece.

I'd skip that idea completely since impurities could easily sneak in and similar problems might pop up. I'd just go for extra shots instead and that sorts everything out, haha.

Agreed on that method. A basic freezer works okay in my experience. There's some argument about freezing the mixed water, so I go with regular sterile water instead, mainly when finishing off each bottle in a single use or spreading it out over two weeks or so.

I divided the 120 mg container with someone else and took 10 mg apiece at five-day intervals. That meant going through 20 mg on those spaced-out dates. The container emptied out within roughly three weeks. Nothing complicated, and we skipped any dividing or cold storage. Things turned out fine.

Oh wow you skipped mentioning him! πŸ˜‚ Does he list any other ingredients inside the container besides the peptide? Earlier they described that nice powdery texture along with the burn as coming from skipping the usual filler. I'm not upset because I really enjoy using it. Planning to take some of the sema and cagri from the warmer months batch last year it seemed solid. By the way I avoid splitting unmixed peptides even in a place like that.

I always start by mixing the powder first unless working inside a fully clean lab setup. The containers get sealed and treated that way on purpose. With my own supply I added bacteriostatic water up to the original container size, pushed everything through a filter into a bigger sterile one, and poured in another equal portion of water. I then split the liquid across several fresh cartridges. One went into the injector while the others stayed chilled in storage. Breaking the seal does create some exposure, and guidelines often suggest tossing anything past roughly a month. Lots of folks in the group keep going longer anyway. Any stray particles could multiply over time even in the cold. A video shows how the filtering step works under controlled conditions.

This is great! When I make my batches there are always some amounts that get left behind during moving and cleaning steps. Having a bit extra to start with means the final amount in the container ends up closer to what I wanted. Provided I keep track of the difference sensibly, it ends up helping the outcome.

For my partner and myself I handle a comparable routine. The 120mg containers arrive already sized to accept 6ml. After mixing in 6ml of diluent I transfer half the solution into a fresh container and pass it through a filter with a needle into 3ml pen inserts twice while keeping everything clean. I figure the remainder might stay in the starting container the powder arrived in and then get frozen again without trouble.

From what I recall reta kits don't come in sizes bigger than around sixty milligrams. I've got a one hundred twenty milligram tirz kit on the way though. Once it arrives I'll mix it up and divide the contents roughly into one sixty and a pair of thirty milligram containers. Then I'll put them in the freezer one by one as needed. Shouldn't cause any issues.

My approach involves dividing one hundred twenty milligrams across four containers at thirty milligrams per container. I place the three destined for freezing into the rapid chill area of the freezer to make them solidify quicker and produce smaller crystals. After they have solidified I move them into my storage cooler. That substance proves quite hardy though. I have yet to examine the alternative compound since no investigation occurred. A participant noted that it resembles the resilient insect among these compounds.
