Summary

personal experiences with NAD+ dosing side effects neuropathy and related peptides

Users report minimal immediate side effects from low-dose NAD+ injections but note a possible temporary worsening of neuropathy symptoms. Experiences with energy and overall effects vary widely with some seeing benefits only at higher doses while others feel nothing. Dosing schedules differ greatly and many experiment on their own. Discussion also covers sequencing with other mitochondrial peptides and skepticism toward certain online sources.

I felt nervous starting because of what others had posted but it turned out fine with only a slight burning sensation. The odd part is my foot neuropathy which is usually managed by medication got much worse about three hours later. I cannot tell if it is connected so I will see what happens after the next dose on Tuesday.

I have been curious about trying NAD but wonder if it is mostly hype. At over fifty it should theoretically help. Hope your flare was just a coincidence.

I hope so too because right now I am really uncomfortable and the pregabalin is not touching it. Might go smoke with my husband later since that usually eases things.

I am fifty six and hoping for improvement. Once the mots arrives I plan to add it though that could take time so I might grab a few singles to begin sooner.

WarmAnchor46archiveJun 7

The buffered version has made a real difference for me after only a week and the changes feel genuine. My wife begins on Wednesday.

WarmAnchor46archiveJun 7

Not yet I began slowly with five then ten then twenty five milligrams. It feels genuinely helpful. In roughly two weeks I intend to add the other two peptides along with it. I follow a lot of content from one particular creator even though his style is abrasive.

I began at ten milligrams. I am unsure about adding the first of those other peptides because reviews are mixed and many report no noticeable change.

WarmAnchor46archiveJun 7

It costs quite a bit but I am willing to test anything once. Sorting through the noise is necessary. The NAD itself feels very worthwhile and the other compound should be even stronger.

Second biggest personality issue. Another creator takes the top spot for that.

WarmAnchor46archiveJun 7

Never came across that one. Is the material any good. The one I follow stays accurate though the delivery is very blunt.

You should check the videos. The person seems to have serious self-obsession issues and the background includes patient complaints plus a competition ban for rule breaking. Paid consultations run ten thousand yet I still watch the first creator despite his own flaws. One rant where he repeatedly insults viewers stands out.

I have heard some of that content and it is wild that people actually pay that amount. The whole thing comes across as unhinged.

It really does feel like a following built around one person at this stage.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @SlowHarbour21

Have you seen what they charge for the items? The amounts are extreme.

SlowHarbour21archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @WarmSparrow33

What else would you expect when they position themselves as offering the absolute top tier items and claim personal oversight.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @SlowHarbour21

Probably mixed up in a home setup for laughs.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 7

Looks like I am not the only one up late. Sleep does not come easily for me.

SlowHarbour21archiveJun 7

I have not had proper rest in more than a year. Stepped on the scale today and saw half a pound up so now I am annoyed after restricting food all week.

IronLantern24archiveJun 7

Since starting the precursor form I have seen fewer side effects from the weight loss medication and fewer typical age related discomforts. Might consider the direct version next. Starving used to make me gain instead of lose until recently and I also rely on medication for sleep.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @SlowHarbour21

I cannot recall the last decent night of rest either. Try not to be too tough on yourself about the scale.

IronCinder92archiveJun 7

Any flushing noticed with the NAD?

ClearBeacon24archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @SlowHarbour21

I thought the top tier option was one hundred thousand. Maybe they are lowering expectations.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @IronCinder92

No flushing at all. Still adjusting the amount so we will see. Probably need to increase it.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @SlowHarbour21

Right and the person is supposedly a doctor of chiropractic.

ClearBeacon24archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @WarmSparrow33

That matches the second creator not sure about credentials for the first one.

Also forgot to mention a prior license suspension related to fraud. Not exactly a model example.

PatientTimber12archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @SlowHarbour21

Checked out the videos after seeing the comments and it is extreme. Quoted thirteen thousand for a top package that includes reviewing numbers and giving a plan but no direct contact. Direct interaction jumps to two hundred fifty thousand and claims twenty plus people pay that. The self importance is off the charts.

PlainAlder11archiveJun 7

Gaining weight is frustrating though it is part of the process sometimes.

PatientTimber12archiveJun 7
↳ replying to @SlowHarbour21

Good to know others are seeing the same thing. Noticed my intake dropping steadily yet the scale still moved up from last week.

SharpKettle23archiveJun 8

Tried the nasal version of NAD and also another nasal compound with almost no noticeable results. Wonder if injections make a substantial difference compared to that route.

ClearBeacon24archiveJun 8
↳ replying to @SharpKettle23

Some nootropics seem to work better nasally for certain people while others prefer the subq method. It varies.

SharpBramble33archiveJun 8
↳ replying to @WarmSparrow33

Given the age and existing issues it might be better to use the repair peptide first before the one that stimulates mitochondria. Damaged mitochondria may not respond well otherwise.

SharpBramble33archiveJun 8
↳ replying to @IronCinder92

Flushing is expected with NAD+ injections. Diluting more during mixing or drinking extra water beforehand and injecting slowly over ten to twenty seconds can reduce it.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 9

Ended up with no effects at all no flushing or positive feeling. The bottle was one thousand milligrams mixed with ten milliliters and I used ten milligrams. Planning Monday Wednesday Friday schedule. Research showed very inconsistent dosing advice.

ClearAnchor21archiveJun 9
↳ replying to @WarmSparrow33

Ten milligrams is quite low. Started at twenty five and went up to one hundred daily with minimal effects then reached two hundred and noticed a clear energy lift. Not recommending that exact path though since results differ.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 9
↳ replying to @ClearAnchor21

Definitely planning to increase. Do you use it every day?

ClearAnchor21archiveJun 9
↳ replying to @WarmSparrow33

Yes daily. Restarted after a three week pause and only recently reached two hundred. Might run it a couple weeks then pause to check for differences. This approach is just my own trial and error at this point.

WarmSparrow33archiveJun 9

Same here. With all the conflicting schedules it seems everyone ends up creating their own routine.

Has the neuropathy settled down since then? I went through something similar.
