Anyone who takes HGH and got bloodwork to confirm results?

Summary

how do people verify real HGH through bloodwork and what IGF-1 changes occur at common doses

Users report baseline and post-HGH IGF-1 levels to check product authenticity, with 2 IU often raising IGF-1 from low-normal into the mid-to-high range. Local injection reactions appear in some vials but not others. Serum GH testing shortly after dosing can confirm activity when IGF testing is skipped. Long-term use requires monitoring glucose markers because HGH affects insulin sensitivity.

Why only some vials trigger the localized allergic-type reaction

Nothing here is advice.

I'm still unsure if my vial is fake. Has anyone done bloodwork to check for an IGF rise? Also, during HGH shots has anyone gotten an allergic-type reaction with an itchy spot and a bump? It happens no matter where I inject. I contacted them and they told me it's because of the 191 amino acid version.

I'm taking six units of IGF these days and my lab reading hit 342.

I took a week off so my IGF could normalize. It came back at 207. So I'm not sure whether the HGH was still in my system or not.

I had my growth hormone checked in a lab test once, about two hours following an injection, because I wanted to know if it was actually working. IGF levels were never tested by me. The half life is short, I recall that as well.

I kicked off two units of growth hormone each day around a month and a half earlier. Images from the time prior to that and how things stand now.

After starting on that amount my readings climbed to a z score of two with an igf value hitting two hundred eighty seven from a starting point of point one and one hundred eighty. Anyone claiming such a dosage barely qualifies as basic substitution has it wrong. I don't think my body reacts unusually well to it and the jump looks pretty typical next to the few other bloodwork results I've come across.

I'm wondering what prompted your choice to begin there. My current reading is 178 and I may try starting out at 2iu.

I'm thinking that's the minimal effective amount. Right now I'm using 2.5 units and won't raise it before my next labs come back. Keeping levels elevated over time isn't good and could bring unwanted effects. I'd like to stay below 315 even at 4 units but it seems unlikely from what I've seen. Some issues have shown up already such as fluid buildup and puffiness around my lower legs. On the positive side it's really helping with body composition since my veins stand out more and the belly area is slimming down after just six weeks.

Admittedly this remark adds nothing useful to the thread, still I must remark on how comically impressive that behavior comes across. Comparable to ingesting mdma before having a self-administered screening done to verify authenticity. That's quite the bold maneuver. Physicians simply lack the ability to comprehend how individuals such as me in this community think.

I expect folks using HGH would arrange for routine lab checks.

I overlooked mentioning earlier to test HbA1c levels plus fasting glucose before trying HG. The product dampens insulin activity, causing those values to climb higher. With already elevated results, I skip using HG and handle that situation beforehand.

My bad for the confusion earlier. How did you pick that starting point of 188? Getting my hormone levels in better shape is something I'm really into, though 178 didn't strike me as low enough to make using it necessary.

Operating at the upper limits appeals to me for the perks involved. That hormone tapers off as years go by. Returning things to their best possible condition like back in my early twenties is the idea.

LevelPebble75archiveMay 7

Every day I used one to two units. My level reached 254 ng/ml. I did not increase past two units since 254 seemed quite good.

QuietFenwick11archiveMay 7

Dosing by iu amounts makes no sense at all. What actually counts is the igf1 z-score. Some folks reach a +1 score from 8iu while others hit +2 with just 3iu.

Appreciate the reply. Likewise on my end. This week's lab work covers my IGF value. Should the reading land below 200, I believe I'll begin two units and assess the outcome.

I tried this approach after doubting the quality of a batch. Checking blood levels costs way less than analyzing the container itself. I measured my baseline concentration on an empty stomach, injected the amount, then checked again after some time passed. There was no change at all, which prompted me to have the container examined separately. It revealed the actual strength was much lower than labeled. I'm still in dispute with the seller over fixing the issue.

This reaction came up for me with just one container among the fifteen or so that I tried. Reports have noted the same thing often enough. Any thoughts on the reason stay limited to guesswork, and it looks tied to that specific container rather than the whole group.

This problem is hitting me at the moment as well. The H36 unit I have came out at H23.5 on the test.

My legs have some veins showing up intensely, ones that hadn't appeared earlier.

I notice it as well in the lower arms, deltoids and biceps πŸ’ͺ🏼
