Yeah, that's exactly how I feel too. I tried keeping things simple by going for the compact low-cost model, yet these days I'm realizing how much I actually want the upgraded version around.

I know man 😂 well the better model is holding steady at a price on the site....i was debating between two models but if you made those killer labels with it I'll just get that one. The site had some fukn pop-up warning that it was frequently returned 🤷🏾

Not totally sure on the exact model between those two versions though I lean toward the first one. A kit comes from the main page and hunting online turns up a promo that includes several add ons. Can't figure out why anyone sends one back since this unit links to the software without issues every time and makes great tags.

Let me argue the other side after exploring the labeling scene pretty deeply on my own and ending up with two separate machines. Truthfully I now wish I had skipped that spending. With time I shifted toward relying on markers instead. Those stay stored in the cold for most of each day and only appear when measurements are needed so I eventually noticed my focus on stickers exceeded their real usefulness. In practice one basic unit would have covered everything required. That said I still maintain designs for the markers and changed to metallic stickers since the shiny versions complicated reading the verification codes. While it's nice providing a friend with a neat personalized sticker arrangement I believe the added expense wasn't justified over time.

I suppose the single approach to learning about possible later remorse is to actually attempt it.

Those circular stickers prove quite handy while gazing upon numerous vibrant tube caps. Searched through an online store expecting availability yet came up empty. Seems like the B series marks the beginning for circular versions. Planning a quick visit to the main page shortly.

I'm replying here because there's no need to defend the obvious side, it's already strong enough. Have you received enough pleasure from your gadget and the custom stickers along with learning the skills before you moved on? I really think enjoyment counts as a valid factor when thinking about whether something was worth the cost. I own a percussion instrument I purchased from abroad that I was anxious about spending so much on even though I couldn't play it at the time. Yet I've definitely received plenty of pleasure from the time I've dedicated to it since then, and the more time passes the more worthwhile it seems as I continue to enjoy it. Even if I stopped using it right away it wouldn't feel pointless since all the enjoyment I already experienced makes the expense reasonable in the end.

It's true GAS exists and it spreads to others. In every pastime once it grabs your attention the costs rise but the craving to acquire remains tough to fight.

I assumed that expression was just everyday casual wording without any religious undertones. 😂 To reply directly, I never saw enough upside from running through that whole procedure to make the expense worthwhile. My earlier remark was basically getting at exactly that idea. Looking back, the basic alternative covered everything I actually required. I follow the larger point you're making though. Some purchases turn out worthwhile just from the experience gained along the way. This wasn't one of those for me.

Yeah, that makes sense. This question isn't just from passing interest for me personally. Each occasion the subject of tags appears, I'm really convinced I could experience a lot of pleasure from an elegant labeling machine, although I rely on writing instruments as well and truly have zero necessity for it. Still, I lose interest and skip acquiring one, going back and forth like that.

Ha, totally get it. Putting that M2 cash towards some enjoyable pens sounds good to me. Still, I see where you're coming from. So tell me, what's the one you like best?

My first attempt involved that basic version. I picked up two right away. Later I sampled some imitation follow-ups and looked into the automatic styles far beyond my curiosity level. Those copies eventually lost their reliable action so I lost interest completely. At that point I grabbed three more of the originals and considered the whole exploration finished. I really don't think the highest quality versions deliver much extra enjoyment or simplicity over ordinary ones.

Are those the size labels? Do you somehow import the design into the app? Rookie here, have never owned a label printer....

Never realized white versions even existed. Grabbing those would have been my pick but the see-through kind seem fine except with my vials that have black caps.

Same with the dark blue.
