Vivid dreams on GLP-1

Summary

Do tirzepatide or retatrutide cause vivid or memorable dreams?

Multiple users report unusually vivid and easily recalled dreams after starting tirzepatide, retatrutide, or both. Some experience this effect within the first week or two and note it recurs with each new dose, while others link it to the combination or to additional peptides. Sleep quality varies: several say overall rest improved or stayed the same, but a few describe more frequent awakenings or unsettling content. The thread leaves open whether the effect comes from one compound, stacking, or individual response.

Lots of people mention sleep trouble with Reta, but that hasn't happened to me. I usually get a full eight hours, though sometimes I still feel short on rest before work. I recently added Tirz to curb food and sweet cravings. Since the night I injected the Tirz, my dreams have turned unusually vivid and I can recall them clearly in the morning. Has anyone else seen this? I'm wondering if it's just the Tirz or the fact that I'm combining it with Reta.

I'm also using Tirz with Reta and noticing the same dreams, though I add Ipa and Cjc as well, so I figured one of those two was responsible.

I've had very vivid dreams since I started about two years ago. My sleep gets broken now and then. I can remember a dream about once a week; this past month there were two that stuck with me and felt good, while others were wildly strange. None of it bothers me.

Interesting. I only use tirz, not reta, but now that you mention it my vivid and easy-to-remember dreams line up with when I began tirz. I have nights like that almost every single time.

I've had really vivid dreams since starting Reta. One of them was pretty disturbing, so the clarity wasn't always welcome, but overall my sleep seems better on Reta.

I've had that plenty of times on Reta. The dreams are very detailed.

It felt like my sleep got worse; I began waking up for no reason. That eased off after two or three weeks, and I wouldn't say the dreams were vivid during the whole time I used it.

No clear change in my sleep for the worse, though my usual sleep quality is already not great. I'm planning to add Epi and DSIM soon to see if that helps reset things.

Reta and the rest of my stack wrecked my sleep. On top of that I get vivid dreams that feel mean, covering things I don't normally worry about. I also keep waking back into the same dream repeatedly before I finally wake up for real. Daytime I feel better than ever; at night it's like going into battle.

My sleep before tirz was poor, but lately I've been sleeping more deeply and actually dreaming. I'm not sure if it's the tirz or just because I've been more active during the day.

Yes, definitely noticeable in the first week on Tirz. It seems strongest from day one through day three each week.
