GHK-Cu protocol for aesthetic purposes?

35 replies24 peopleApr 24, 2026β˜† Follow
Summary

What dosing, cycling, and results do people report from GHK-Cu for skin glow, texture, wrinkles, and hair?

Users mostly inject 1-3 mg daily and describe skin becoming thicker, softer, and more radiant after 4-8 weeks, with some also noting firmer texture and reduced fine lines. A few see little change in wrinkles or hair. Injection sting varies by site and person; some cycle 6-12 weeks on and a few weeks off while others stay on continuously. Zinc supplementation opinions split and blends with KPV are mentioned for added skin or inflammation effects.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether to cycle or run continuously, whether zinc cancels or supports effects, and how much benefit younger users can expect.

Like lots of folks, curiosity has hit me about using ghk-cu aiming at improvements in hair and skin looks. Yet contradictions pop up everywhere regarding amounts, schedules, unwanted effects, and just about any other aspect. Weeks of digging into this have left me feeling even more uncertain than before. So I'm wondering if anyone has used ghk-cu only for looks-related gains. If yes, were there noticeable differences? What amount was used and for what period? Protocols vary a lot, some mention every other day, others five days followed by two off, or daily. Some suggest running it six to eight weeks then pausing, while others indicate months needed for visible effects. Was zinc added? Info conflicts on whether it's necessary or interferes with copper advantages. Any intense burning or stinging during shots? Might a mix like GLOW or KLOW suit better when looks are the priority over repair? Videos from medical pros claim ghk-cu handles well in the system, yet accounts describe painful lumps, puffiness, and extended issues from use. Since no standard way exists for this research compound, personal stories from others would be great to hear.

Probably talked too long earlier. πŸ˜… Now for something simpler, I'm curious what others think about mixing that copper peptide with KPV when it comes to hair and skin benefits.

There are already many excellent discussions in this place. Try searching for them using the tools available. One example involves a twelve-week period using certain compounds along with images. At age sixty-one, I maintained identical illumination and space conditions while avoiding cosmetics to track progress accurately. The initial photo shows the start of my investigation. I was heavily swollen, taking multiple medications, with a dull tone on my complexion and very tangled locks. Notice the swelling near the eyelids and facial areas.

NorthMarble18archiveApr 26

I completed a round with the copper peptide at two milligrams each day. By week five my skin seemed softer with a nicer sheen yet I dealt with some pimples during week three and simply pushed through them. Not sure if the phrase for those copper skin problems rings a bell. I avoid zinc because what I read indicated the copper amount per serving stays too low to need any extra.

Sorry if that made me seem uninformed. 😞 I opened the discussion to go through what others shared here, but ended up with extra uncertainties instead. I truly take in far more material than I add myself.

I'm jumping into this thread so i can pick up knowledge for myself. i'd like to experiment with ghk-cu.

SteadyQuill55archiveApr 27

This is my third round with the peptide. The initial one began last September. Each round involves taking two milligrams daily for about ten weeks, then pausing for several weeks. Once I tried a shorter round out of restlessness. Currently I'm a couple weeks into the latest one. It hasn't affected my wrinkles, hair condition, fine lines, sagging skin or age spots at all. My skin didn't have much looseness to begin with and I already appeared decent in those areas beforehand. However the benefit I notice and the cause for continuing is how my complexion appears attractive somehow. Sort of luminous, clear, even toned and soft. I skip makeup but apply basic cream and my face seems very vibrant. The same holds for my limbs. No breakouts and minimal visible pores. When I check the mirror I think wow at forty five I look nice. Except for the puffiness under my eyes and sagging eyebrows which I'm planning to fix later this year I might consider myself attractive. That's okay for someone my age who smokes. I know I show my age with typical features for a woman in her mid forties yet I appear as a vibrant one and I don't link attractiveness to youth so I support using it.

I've been using this every single day for close to twelve months. It began because of my skin issues but I persist with it due to persistent aches and the skin benefits too. People recommended five days active then two rest since treatment centers don't operate weekends for the injections. But following that isn't needed at all.

QuietKettle56archiveApr 27

I placed an order recently since I hoped to notice any advantages it might provide. The item still hasn't shown up, though I'll watch how my skin looks overall once I reach the six to eight week point.

WarmAlder42archiveApr 27

I'm now at the fifth week of my daily 1.5 dose of GHK-cu. Not really sure about any benefits yet, but since I have the supplies ready and the injections go smoothly, even if a small red bump appears randomly some days, and with no bad side effects like the copper issues showing up, I'll stick with it until the full eight weeks and then decide what to do next.

QuietFenwick11archiveApr 27

From what I've gathered only sunscreen along with tretinoin come with reliable study support when it comes to helping skin resist visible aging effects.

SteadyBramble19archiveApr 27

I've used this for six weeks total. Began with one milligram daily but only five days each week. Currently taking two point five milligrams daily. My skin's feel has changed quite a bit, becoming gentler and more dense. A picture won't work right now because of the bronzer applied earlier today. The sagging below my jawline also appears mildly improved. Just from how the surface feels, I intend to keep going. Looking ahead to more shifts ahead, as full effects need three to six months.

GreyCompass75archiveApr 27

I take roughly one and a half milligrams every day from the mixture, amounting to around three hundred micrograms of the remaining parts. My skin has grown denser and tougher so needles meet more resistance going in. Body hair looks fuller and maybe a bit deeper in color, possibly tied to the tanning peptide. My face seems improved overall though that remains a personal impression. The copper peptide works fine for younger users but at my stage it eases various nagging discomforts. Swelling has dropped in general along with less trouble from joint issues and repetitive strain. I keep hoping for lasting tendon relief if I stay on it longer. Reactions where I inject bother me badly. The upper rear works best for placement. Even adding more sterile water and using a percussion tool fails to stop soreness in the spot. Skipping any pause makes the whole area intensify gradually. So I stop for about two weeks until it settles back down.

BlueAlder28archiveApr 27

For around six weeks I've been injecting two milligrams of GHK-Cu each day. Shots placed beside the belly button caused sharp discomfort that lingered like an old insect bite or a pellet from a toy gun. Moving three or four inches lower and slightly off center removed the pain entirely. I loaded one hundred milligrams into a pair of three milliliter cartridges meant for the pen device. Once the second one runs out I intend to pause for a month and a half or two. Both my wife and I have seen reduced lines on my face along with skin that seems smoother and firmer at the same time. It appears and feels improved overall. I also roll a zero point three millimeter tool across my face and apply the copper peptide cream to my forehead, temples, the skin beneath my eyes, and my neck.

PatientMarble60archiveApr 27

Taking three milligrams each day works fine for me without causing any stomach trouble. My legs do get a burning sensation though. My skin seems firmer now and those small wrinkles have gotten better. Being a weathered forty-five from the sunshine state means plenty of exposure to the sun over the years.

SteadyMeadow70archiveApr 28

Started my daily routine back in late December using three to five milligrams each time. Also tried other peptides earlier but kept those separate because of frugality so they got stopped while I stuck with the copper version. Saw zero difference for ages until just recently when two shifts showed up. The latest Botox wore off sooner than before though some compounds are known to break it down quicker yet even with expressions returning and creases forming during movement those marks vanish right after so my forehead stays clear in the mirror. A friend on this about as long mentioned the same thing noting her skin must have improved since the lack of treatment no longer stands out. In my mid forties the drooping lids had me eyeing an eyelid procedure for months especially the left side that reached my lashes now while driving to work I saw it no longer does that even with eyes wide open the improvement crept in slowly without any before shot and surgery would still appeal for more change but things look better than they did. No reactions at all unless six milligrams hit at once and I add zinc now and then when it crosses my mind.

ClearBeacon53archiveMay 1

This weekend wraps up my fourth week on the protocol. I began with one milligram daily during the opening seven days before stepping up to two milligrams daily, which I intend to maintain through the full twelve-week run. Afterward I plan to pause for a month and repeat the whole thing, though beginning at the two-milligram level right away. The lines beneath my eyes have grown less noticeable, something even my spouse pointed out, so I’m looking forward to whatever else might improve by the twelve-week mark. My hair still shows little difference so far. The injection site doesn’t sting for me, which seems to be a variable reaction rather than something universal. Each evening right before sleep I take a ZMA product, having learned that the formula must avoid zinc oxide since that form can interfere with absorption. For the following round I’ll switch the injection to mornings instead of evenings, since many report that zinc and the peptide work best when separated by several hours, and I want to follow that precaution.

Hoping it would reduce swelling as well, I began taking the substance. Pain has increased in my feet along with my ankles over the last few days since starting. Could there be a time needed to adapt because of its impact on collagen? Figuring out whether this counts as a short lived effect or another problem getting worse.

RustBeacon82archiveMay 1

Every day I use two milligrams of that copper peptide. My complexion has improved noticeably since starting. It seems more substantial to the touch now, unlike how delicate it used to seem after turning fifty. Overall the appearance and texture both seem better. Regarding my hair I have nothing to report because I also use a daily pill for that. However the small lines around my face have become less pronounced and the loose skin under my chin has tightened up completely. This item will stay part of my regular cycle forever.

I'm getting ready to mix this up and begin the shots, though that step doesn't thrill me at all. It already seems to clear from my system pretty quickly, so making it move any faster holds no appeal. Half a year has passed since the prior round because shoulder surgery forced a delay right at the scheduled time, meaning it's all gone now, and wow I am eager for the effects to hit my masseters.

Not really sure what's making my Botox stop working so soon. Maybe one of the peptides I'm using or something different altogether. I saw somewhere that faster metabolism might shorten how long it lasts, and I'm on lots of peptides that mostly don't do anything for my skin, so perhaps it's unrelated. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

GreyCompass75archiveMay 5

I apologize for taking so long to respond. From what I know the only possible reactions involve brief skin issues sometimes called the copper uglies. Since this approach lasts quite a while changes in collagen wouldn't show up quickly in my view. Water retention from growth peptides could explain things if you're using those though I'm uncertain about GHK specifically. Is this still happening?

QuietTimber44archiveMay 5
↳ replying to @GreyCompass75

Good thing it wasn't that after all. The extra discomfort apparently came from running low on B12 after I scaled back my usual intake lately. So that's a relief, and now I can't wait to keep going with GHK.

I've come across the idea of using zinc supplements around the time of a Botox session since it's thought to help the effects stick around longer. Still, from what I've seen, fitting in regular workouts and sauna time causes the results to fade much sooner compared to when I'm not moving around much.

SteadyMeadow70archiveMay 11
↳ replying to @NorthMarble18

Since beginning with the copper peptide, I've made zinc a daily habit. Sure, others might claim it's unnecessary, yet the cost is low so I'm just being cautious. I recall how intense workouts used to make certain injections wear off quicker because of faster body processes, and that makes sense to me. Still, adding zinc hasn't made any obvious difference for me, though perhaps without it the situation could be poorer.

LevelTimber64archiveMay 11

It's wild seeing all the positive shifts people describe here. Personally my heels that used to split constantly have become incredibly soft while the skin around my nails no longer tears at all. Friends keep mentioning how radiant my skin looks even though they have zero idea about the compound I'm using or what it involves at all ha.

I'm wondering if you eventually tracked down the details you needed and if so would you be open to passing them along since I'm thinking about trying that particular combination myself.

I believe this copper peptide provides the most advantages to people in their middle years or beyond, given that the body's production of it drops naturally with time. It appears to enhance the look and tightness of skin, though younger individuals might notice little change. Shots also seem really uncomfortable, especially in certain areas. Being 29 myself, I've chosen to skip the injections and instead look into creating a skin-applied mixture with copper. Regarding the other peptide, it comes across as an effective option for repairing issues in the digestive system and on the skin.

BrightSignal76archiveJun 12

I'm curious about the right way to administer this compound to repair muscle and tendon damage. My current stack includes half a milligram of that other peptide twice each day along with two and a half milligrams of the third one on the start and middle of the week. After mixing the hundred milligram container using three milliliters of the sterile solution, the calculator indicates three units equal one milligram. Since reports mention doses up to two milligrams, I plan to use a larger amount. When purchasing the set of ten such containers, I didn't expect the supply to exceed twelve months. So what approach works best for fixing tendons?

BrightSignal76archiveJun 15

I'm using 2 milligrams of this copper peptide and feeling no irritation at all. Before with the mixture product there was some mild discomfort. Maybe the container I received contains nothing but blue powder residue? I assumed the pure version would cause more reaction compared to the combined one. Even when combined with those other peptides and shot into my elbow area which has minimal padding, nothing happened. Surely that spot should have produced some sensation. Has anybody else obtained this peptide recently from the same source? The NAD I received together with it is working intensely.

For more than thirty days I've been giving myself shots of two milligrams of that copper peptide. My nails and the skin around them seem healthier overall. The skin on my feet used to be rough and split but feels really soft now. At first those shots hurt a bit. I tested out different spots for the needle and settled on the upper legs and rear as the least bothersome. On top of that, once or twice a week I roll a device with tiny needles over my face before putting on the peptide in liquid form. The skin there feels a little firmer and even, though the change isn't huge.

My routine skips any cycling and uses two milligrams on a daily basis.

I'm doing the same thing myself. Using two milligrams of GHK each day together with KPV in amounts from one to one point five milligrams daily. Started around the middle of March and continue without any break.

NorthSignal84archiveJul 13

That's unexpected, figured the majority went through cycles. I still need to look into this particular one a little.
