The last 10 pounds to goal

Summary

experiences and adjustments for the final 10 pounds of weight loss

Users describe the last stretch as particularly slow and stubborn. Some increased dosing to push through remaining pounds while others began lowering it near the end. Diet tightening, removal of certain foods, daily walking, and intermittent fasting were mentioned as tactics used during that phase. Progress varied from steady small losses over weeks to quicker initial drops earlier on.

I'd like to hear what others went through once they reached the final stretch of their weight loss. How did you manage when the scale slowed down? Were there any shifts in how much you took or what you ate?

I raised the amount I'm using a couple of times to help move these remaining pounds along. Down to 3.4 now. LOL

I'm keeping a close eye on this thread since I'm at the same point and want to pick up any useful experiences from others. Good luck.

I was using 9mg when I weighed 173 and moved to 12.5mg the week I reached 163 which was my goal, and that stretch took nine weeks. Earlier on, my first week at 2.5mg dropped nine pounds, probably water. I averaged 1334 calories a day at the higher weight and 1481 in the final week while cutting out sugar-free products, sodas, fats except the good ones, sweets, refined carbs, bread, potatoes and pasta. I also did 8/16 intermittent fasting and walked 10k steps every day.

I began lowering my dose once I had fewer than 15 pounds left.

Those last ten pounds feel like they've dragged on forever, especially the final two.
