Anyone stack Reta, Cagri, and Tirz?

7 replies6 peopleJun 23, 2026☆ Follow
Summary

Does stacking retatrutide, cagrilintide, and tirzepatide help break weight-loss stalls or is it better to simply raise doses of an existing regimen?

Several users describe adding the third peptide after stalling on one or two agents and report renewed loss of 5–15 lb in the first month, with all three compounds injected on the same day or spaced by a couple of days. Most keep total weekly doses modest (tirzepatide 4–6 mg, retatrutide 2–6 mg, cagrilintide 0.25–1 mg) and note they monitor rapid loss and emerging sensory side-effects. A few have reached maintenance ranges near BMI 23–30 after total losses of 50–70 kg and are now experimenting with lower “as-needed” frequencies rather than further titration.

What this discussion establishesWhere people disagree

Whether to keep raising the current two-drug stack versus introducing the third peptide at a low starting dose.

How long rapid loss can safely continue and what final maintenance doses will avoid weight regain without unacceptable side-effects.

Nothing here is advice.

Does combining those three even make sense, or should I just increase what I'm already taking?

I run 5 mg tirzepatide, 2 mg retatrutide, and 0.25 mg cagrilintide as needed, sometimes stretching the last one to 14 days. Everything goes in on the same day with no issues. Adding the extra two broke a month-long stall I hit at 10 mg tirzepatide alone and dropped 15 lb in the first 30 days. I know the pace is risky but plan to keep going a couple more weeks; if it stays this fast I’ll ease back and try eating more.

How much more weight were you hoping to lose when you added cagrilintide? I’m at 5 mg tirzepatide plus 6 mg retatrutide weekly, still have about 15 lb of fat to go, and losses have slowed over the past 4–5 weeks.

At the time I had only lost 20 lb on tirzepatide by itself. My total target is 60–80 lb. Starting weight 256 lb, stalled at 236 lb, now 221 lb, goal 200–180 lb. Female, 50 years old.

I reached 10 mg tirzepatide and 6 mg retatrutide before side-effects like tinnitus and prickly skin showed up, so I stopped increasing. I added retatrutide at 1 mg then 2 mg and cagrilintide at 0.5 mg then 1 mg, dosing them two days apart. That gave another 5 lb but then I stalled for weeks. I’m down over 50 lb total yet still obese; goal is another 7–10 lb to reach the overweight/obese cutoff. BMI went from 40 to 31, target 30. Once supplies arrive I’ll move to 12/4/2 but I’m at a remote site for two months with no shipping address so titration planning got complicated.

I inject 4 mg retatrutide Sunday, 1 mg semaglutide Wednesday, and 4 mg tirzepatide Friday. Retatrutide ended my stall. I might raise it slightly; semaglutide quiets food noise and tirzepatide reduces inflammation. After more than four years on GLP-1s and maxing semaglutide two years ago I switched to tirzepatide but food noise persisted so I brought semaglutide back. When retatrutide appeared I dropped tirzepatide and added it, but hand pain returned even with the usual support so I reintroduced tirzepatide. Surgeries last year forced a 3–4 month break and restart, which is how I learned what each compound does for me. It sounds extreme and isn’t for everyone, yet it works.

I’m on 6 mg retatrutide split twice a week, 0.6 mg cagrilintide split twice a week, and want to add tirzepatide. Standard advice starts tirzepatide at 2.5 mg weekly, but with the other two already in place I wonder if starting a bit lower and titrating slowly would be smarter.

I lost 70 kg three years ago. Two years ago I started semaglutide but had many side-effects even at low doses for a year, then switched to 15 mg tirzepatide a year ago and preferred the milder side-effects. Hunger was lower but still present so I added 5 mg retatrutide; skin sensory issues prevent raising either dose. That produced another 14 kg over a year. Now I’m testing 0.25 mg cagrilintide every four days to see if it helps reach a sustainable point where I can eat when hungry, avoid regaining weight, and keep side-effects low at 64 kg and BMI 23.
