I chose not to take chances though and decided to discard mine or have it tested properly instead. I reached out to the seller to resolve the problem and mentioned who it was so others could avoid unreliable ones like that. I wondered if a vacuum existed in the container when the liquid went in. Usually that pulls everything from the needle right into the bottle. Lacking that vacuum means exposure to air causes breakdown and eventually microbes can start developing when it's been sitting too long.

I don't know how that person did with their attempt to save it, but the seller agreed to send a replacement kit. I would choose the replacement.

I'm not experienced with chemistry so the mention of extra salts in the description leaves me puzzled. If it gets filtered would those salts come out or could someone still use the material as is even if it risks blocking the injection tool. For my part I'd likely just discard the entire batch.

Someone was offering black top R15 but noted it might go cloudy after mixing, though PBS can clear that up, and they said skip it if that matters to you. I figure it's made at the same spot as the other two. Their page is empty now, so it must have moved fast. I never caught what it cost.

Wondering if I ought to ask for a swap. Perhaps I should mix up one more and observe it carefully.

After mixing a small amount of that compound into my own solution the cloudiness vanished as the bits broke down completely. It looks totally transparent now yet the acidity measure sits at eight or nine which seems elevated. My lack of prior knowledge leaves me unsure whether adding it actually solved anything.
